They used to be good but in the last 6 months that have been unable to cope. So far for my latest prescription I have had to return 3 times as they haven’t got everything….and they still haven’t! I have to return a 4th time and join the never ending queue again! Yesterday I waited 45 mins for the incomplete prescription! I am now changing pharmacies as enough is enough!

I chose this as my nominated local pharmacy in Marchwood, but they are incredibly unreliable. Having take time off on Friday from work to pick up a prescription, I turn up to find that the pharmacy had closed early due to staff shortages. I did the same again today on a Monday, turned up at 14:15 to find, yet again a note advising that the pharmacy was closed for the afternoon due to staff shortages. I've now completely run out of the medication the repeat prescription is for, placing my health at risk. A great job Day Lewis pharmacy - never available when needed! Suffice to say, I have now nominated another chain of pharmacies for my repeat prescriptions. Hopefully, I'll have my much needed medication soon, no thanks to Day Lewis Pharmacy.

They never have my prescription ready and I have had to go to another pharmacy, and sometimes they don't have the medication that I need. I give them plenty of time and each person tells me a different story why they don't have it so I am going to change pharmacies.

Just awful service. The counter staff appear overwhelmed, so are curt and rude and show little respect for the customers who are waiting for their meds. I had a script go in on a Thursday and there was still no sign of it on the Tuesday. I had to return 4 times. No one answered the phone so I could check it was in before retuning again and again. I shall be taking my scripts elsewhere from now

A prescription is placed with them by the doctor a week later you call pharmacy who say we have received it a few days ago and will order your medicine today. Why was it not ordered directly the prescription is received. Then on numerous occasions when it is eventually ready only to find that only part of the prescription is available and you have to return again for the rest. I am finding I am running out of medication before the repeat prescription is fulfilled. This pharmacy used to be excellent but over the last year it is getting worse and worse. I have no choice but to go elsewhere despite this being very inconvenient I have asked for an explanation as to why they do not order the items on the prescription when they receive it from the surgery but they have not been able to give one.

This pharmacy used to be brilliant, now medications are never done ready to collect, always being told they have just got it despite it being ordered at least a week in advance. No texts sent out to say it’s ready anymore. Always being told to come back which is very difficult when working full time and paying to park each time. Really considering moving to a new chemist. Today part of my meds were not in stock, don’t know how long it will be, just told to ring them! Sorry but they should be ringing. E! Counter staff always grumpy but maybe not their fault? The standards here have really dropped for some reason.oh and in my bag today was a script slip for another person!! With all their personal details on it!!! I will be informing the surgery of this confidential info breach. Not impressed.

Review titled Medicine never ready for collection

Counter staff brilliant , and I feel sorry for them , but since pharmacist has left , our medication has not been ready for collection weeks after being issued by doctors. We used to get a txt saying they are ready but not even that now , it must be do hard for counter staff I am sure a lot of people are rude and its not there fault .
