Over the last two years the pharmacy seems has been in a poor state of organisation. I was hoping it would improve under new management but to no avail. Two months running they have been out of stock of my repeat prescribed medication. I do not blame them for this, but I am concerned about the lack of communication & solutions. Both months others items were delivered to my home with a slip promising a later delivery of the missing item which never materialized. No one contacted me to tell me they could not fulfil & on both occasions.I had to then visit the pharmacy & go back to my doctor's to have a prescription reissue. Is there no system they could put in place to 1. communicate with the patient & 2. Alert the doctors prescribing the medication that the patient will need a further prescription to take elsewhere. The doctors surgery is next door, it would be far easier for them to do this instead of causing delays & leaving it all to the patient. Drugs are prescribed for a reason & in some cases like mine it can be dangerous to just stop taking them & then have to wait 5 days for a reissue from the doctor's. As I said earlier, there seems to be a lack of organisation, there is no lateral thinking & they seen permanently in a state of panic. I would suggest an inspection & some best practise procedures put in place.

Having rushed to get there on a friday afternoon, I got to a locked shop door at 6.24 (the website says it closed at 6.30). I tried the door and was met with stares from staff who didn't bother to come and explain why the door was locked prior to 6.30. I waited until one of the 4 customers left to ask one of the staff if I could get my prescription. He asked had I already ordered it I said yes. This was my migraine medication. Before he could answer me another man came to the door and said they were closed and shut the door in my face. No compassion, no courtesy, no manners, no sense of duty, no thought for me as a patient. I waited and watched and by 6.32pm all of the staff were out of the door, in their cars and ready to leave. Clock watching at its finest. I now have a full on migraine with no effective pain relief. Disgraceful lack of service, not one person came to explain why they were shut early, I was treated like a nobody. Stay clear of this pharmacy. I've always had normal service here but clearly things have changed. The fact that they don't need to attract customers, there is little other choice, they obviously feel they can treat people like dirt. Completely disgraceful, unacceptable especially when you think I could have been elderly or disabled. In Complete contrast to my father's pharmacy who off their own bat actually hand delivered him his palative care prescription because it was late. This excuse of a pharmacist is a disgrace to his profession.

My son was very poorly the out of hours doctor sent a prescription Christmas night to arc pharmacy for us to pick up on Boxing Day it was only open 1pm until 2pm my dad got there at 1.15 and had to wait until 1.45 to be told there wasn’t doing anymore prescriptions they were closing and he would have to find another pharmacy look on the internet, absolutely disgusting pharmacy we had drive 20 miles for antibiotics, would never use these ever again and I’ve used them for 20 years

I have used this pharmacy for over 20 years and it used to be great and very efficent but post covid it's awful, prescriptions are never ready and often require you to wait at least 30/40 minutes to receive them, the pharmacy are often missing items so you have to come back to collect the rest of your prescription. If you prescription isnt in their printed paper stack instead of looking it up on their system they write it down and you have to wait 30 minutes before they tell you if they can do it or not, the new staff are all pretty abrupt with patients and many of them seem to lack in positive customer service skills . I've been pretty patient post covid with the pharmacy.. all my family members have now changed except me but honestly i can't be bothered with the hassle involved with this pharmacy.. I don't recommend anyone comes here.

For months now the pharmacy seems in disarray, which they blame on being understaffed. There is always a huge queue whenever you go & they are regularly out of stock of items. It takes well over a week to get your prescription so we are now resolved to put our in 2 weeks prior to date required. The prescription documentation is never right & you do not get a list of what they have sent. Countless times there is something missing from deliveries. I am currently waiting for a prescription I put in 9 days ago. I rang yesterday to chase it up & they said they would send today. When it arrived 3 items were missing so I phoned them & apparently one is out of stock but hopefully in later this week. The other missing items I can collect tomorrow. I could of told you this would happen, they never ever get it right. My husband is constantly chasing his missing items from his lengthy prescription & never gets a delivery without queries. If there is a body that polices Pharmacies then please do an inspection.

Ordered prescription 4thApril 2023 Went to collect 14th April 2023 Arrived 14.40pm,left 15.05pm having been told prescription not on system , call back in 30 mins. Went back 15.35pm(queued) served 16.00pm, told prescription not with them at another pharmacy- go see doctors surgery Went doctors , told prescription at Beech Tree pharmacy Went Beech Tree within 5 minutes supplied prescription and requested they be my nominated pharmacy in future . Don’t normally complain but this was a very trying experience
