Had to attend for suspected celulitis (I have lymphoedema) when I was on holiday in the area. I was dealt with well and sympathetically: tests, examine and, finally, penicillin. It took a while but you expect that when we can walk up at any time and there was a steady flow of people being seen to, of all ages and severity. Thank you!

I visited Kendal Urgent Treatment Centre on 21/08/2022 and was impressed by both the clinical treatment I received and the kind and professional attitude of all of the staff from the reception to the nurses and doctors whom I had dealings with. Thank you all.

I collected my cat from a stay in the cattery last Saturday, and she over-reacted somewhat to my putting her in her carrier; scratching me and biting my ear. I attended Urgent Treatment that morning to have my scratches and bites checked, to be given a tetanus jab and to be provided with antibiotics. I have not felt my best over the last few days but have attended the Urgent Treatment centre for two further appointments where they provided an IV booster, and have provided me with additional antibiotic. I have been asked to return one more time to be ‘signed off’. I am glad to say I am already feeling a lot better. I have to say that everyone at Westmorland Urgent Care has been so kind and caring. I am so very grateful for the attention I have received. In particular, I would note how genuinely welcoming everyone has been; which is so reassuring when you don't feel at your best! My cat has been forgiven, of course, and has set aside her alter ego. Our NHS is a truly fabulous institution; I only wish our government felt the same!

Was in Endoscopy dept yesterday very nervous, for anyone having a camera down your throat, the nurse from the moment I arrived to the moment I was never left and assured all the time. The doctor and staff were wonderful explaining all the way. Wonderful all of you. Thank you. There really is no need to worry which is ok to say after the procedure but you really are in good hands these people are really the most caring staff I have ever met.

I fell approx 1 m on to my left hand which sustained a deep tissue cut to the muscle . I was seen at the walk in minor injuries clinic and received immediate pain relief , wound care , the AE Consultant ( who happened to be and Orthopaedic Dr ) referred me to LRI for surgery . The staff were brilliant the care was excellent , the communication was superb - clear explanation and prompt and appropriate wait times . I was very impressed .
