    I came in for day surgery on 5/11/2022. I was very anxious and nervous to past experiences but very quickly was given plenty of reassurance. I was suprised how well the team was led and how well they all worked together. I would love to leave names and congratulate the team in the excellent care they provided me and others around me I observed. I visit every 6xmonths and I have never felt so relaxed and well looked aftered. We need more people to step forward to recognise outstanding care to this quality. I would like to thanks all individuals who took care of me today. Great work and a massive asset to the service. They didn't make me feel alone I felt very comfortable during my stay and appreciate the help and extra mile they went to for patients aswel as myself. Thank you!

    I was referred by my GP in march 2022. I have not had a single letter or phone call about an appointment. When you call no one answers the switch board and when they do finally answer they fob you off stating that someone will call back but they don’t. Im still waiting for an appointment!!!!!!!!

    The surgery took six months to fully recover from, I suspect due to the way that it was carried out. I have since had a more complicated surgery on the same area and the recovery time was a few weeks. I have repeatedly been trying to get my surgery notes from my GP and through the Bmi Hospital. It is impossible to get my surgery notes or to get proper information or to get any follow-up. I found the experience devastating and I remain furious.

    Although admin staff at this hospital really tried to be helpful in person, the dismissive attitude of the consultant (even after complaining) and the absence of any promised phone calls to schedule appointments, destroyed my confidence in the hospital. As a result I have gone to a NHS provider that has so far provided an excellent experience.

    I'm a patient waiting for Hernia Surgery since the beginning of this year. My appointment had been delayed 3 times initially and finally got to checked up in last month. Dr. said hospital will get in touch for surgery discussion but no contact so far, more than 5 weeks now. Tried to contact the hospital but they have no telephone line for NHS referred patients. When you call on their usual number (for private number), the staff says they can't help.

    I have had 2 appointments over the last 4 months cancelled without sufficient notice from the Urology department. I have emailed and called them multiple times promising that they would arrange for someone to speak with me, and then I wait with no response.

    Went to ENT many times to be told nothing wrong, another clinic diagnosed retracted eardrum. Their is no parking available realistically and two disabled bays that are on street. Will not return to this hospital now for anything and would not recommend.

    Referred to lih may 2022, first consultant cancelled consultation day prior not now taking nhs patients. Second consultant went home leaving me sitting for 2hrs in waiting area. Had 2 mri scans but as of May 2023 haven't seen anyone, help!

    Was referred here by my GP, took a while to see the consultant but when I was seen the test and scans where done quick. After that all was downhill. Took ages to book a appointment with consultant again to review the results, after which I was told I need a day case procedure. However after that, twice my surgery has been cancelled once on the day 2 hours before my surgery via text message and the 2nd time the evening of the day before the surgery. This after calling me to say its going ahead. The 2nd time I even waited to arrange child care as I knew how shoddy the service was, yet they cancelled after confirming. There is 0 regard for patients in this place, or the impact their decisions have on peoples lives.

    We are very sorry to hear that you had your procedure cancelled multiple times. We can only imaging how frustrating this must be. Unfortunately, there are times where procedures have to be cancelled at the last minute but our teams do try to do all they can to avoid this, where possible and only go ahead with a cancellation for the safety of the patient. We do put our patients' safety at the forefront of everything that we do, but we do understand that this does nothing to help with the inconvenience and frustration that you have experienced, which we can only apologise for.
