  1. Review titled Awful hospital

Rated 1 star out of 5

Went in to the hospital for my issue and the nurse straight away had a very dismissive nature. Instead of asking me questions about my symptoms, how long I had this issue, she straight away asked me what I have been using to treat this. As I am on benefits and medically exempt I asked if I could have the medication prescribed and she said no as it is over the counter prescription. I have been prescribed medication for the same issue before. Also my GP have prescribed me medication that is available over the counter this year. She clearly did not want to help me and her nature was very dismissive. I also showed her what medication I was given for the same issue this year and she didn’t want to listen. I checked the NHS website and my condition is not one of the conditions where you can get over the counter medication! Absolutely awful service. Not happy

Waiting area clean and well organised.Staff dealt professionally with a rude patient. The nurse practitioner immediately understood my problem and provided the necessary antibiotic after taking my medical history. He was also kind and cheerful in spite of being busy.

  3. Review titled Excellent Caring Service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Recently referred by my GP to attend A&E or an Urgent Treatment Centre for Shingles around my eye a friend advised me to visit Teddington UTC and I'm so pleased I did. It was a Sunday, and there were a number of people waiting to be seen but from the moment I arrived I felt the staff cared about me and the others waiting. The reception staff were efficient and knowledgeable enough to direct me to a side room away from other patients, as there 2 pregnant ladies waiting to be seen. Whilst in the side room waiting my turn nursing staff made welfare visits to check I was okay. The clinical staff made an initial examination of my eye, talked me through any potential problems, prescribed medication and arranged a follow-up telephone consultation with the eye unit at Kingston. These are challenging times for the NHS and whilst the whole team at Teddington had lots of patients to deal with and my problem was not significant in the scheme of what was going on at that time they made me feel I was important to them. For the respect, care and treatment given I say 'Thank-you'.

  4. Review titled Excellent local facility

Rated 5 stars out of 5

This is the second time I have visited the Urgent Care Centre and I have been impressed on both occasions. On my recent visit, the staff were polite and professional. The waiting area was clean and I felt safe, and the care and treatment I received were excellent in a situation that could have seen my health deteriorate rapidly. Thank you.

Attended 11th June 2022, and from Reception to Urgent Care staff we had a very pleasant experience. Staff were all very kind and curteous, we didn't feel rushed at all. The waiting room and facilities were very clean. The wait was what we expected to be and I cannot thank enough to all Staff we came across.
