  1. Review titled An amazing hospital with superb staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Nicholas Walker - Posted on 01 March 2023

I am a visitor to Hampton area, where my sister lives. I became ill on 28/2 and she brought me to your hospital for a check. Throughout my visit I was treated with immense professionalism, expertise, courtesy and kindness. I cannot praise the staff highly enough.

  2. Review titled Care, compassion, professionalism at the walk-in centre

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Ann Coward - Posted on 15 January 2023

As both my GP practice and the out of hours service were both closed, I had occasion to attend the walk-in clinic at the hospital. From the moment I walked in (feeling pretty poorly) I was treated with care, compassion and professionalism, from the receptionist taking my details to the nurse reading test results, diagnosing and ultimately prescribing. Thank you for the way I was treated on what was a busy afternoon for staff.

  3. Review titled Excellent service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Joyce - Posted on 09 November 2022

First class treatment - from the friendly greeting at the door to the helpful reception staff. Then excellent care from a nurse - she suspected a fracture and booked an x-ray. The process ran very smoothly and I was soon seen again, given a splint and booked into a fracture clinic. I was in and out within an hour - fantastic service. I think everyone should have access to this type of care at a local level.

  4. Review titled Diabetic Eye Test Clinic - Signage

Rated 4 stars out of 5

    by Malcolm M - Posted on 13 October 2022

On attending the diabetic eye test clinic yesterday I entered the main entrance where there was no reception staff but a notice board listing the various departments and a map of were they were located. However, the diabetic eye test clinic was not listed. Myself and another gentleman were wandering around trying to find it when we eventually came across a member of staff who was able to direct us to the correct location. It would have been much more helpful to have the clinic included on the list at the entrance so we could have gone directly to the clinic. Once we arrived at the clinic everything was fine.

Thank you for your feedback about the Teddington Memorial Hospital. The Teddington Memorial Hospital hosts various outpatient clinics, the retinal screening clinics are run by NEC Software Solutions, South West London Diabetic Eye Screening Programme (SWL DESP). We have been advised the appointment letter should have had directions to the outpatient clinics, I am sorry if this was not communicated to you. I have shared your feedback with the team to help improve our services.

  5. Review titled Compassionate Doctor

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by ThanksDoc - Posted on 10 October 2022

My mom had a bit of a fall and to doctor we saw was extremely compassionate about the whole situation, giving us a step by step on things to do next and what signs to keep an eye on. The doc also gave general advice for my mom's underlying condition. In general, making us feel extremely comfortable while giving us ways to improve my mom's quality of life.

  7. Review titled Brilliant service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Georgina - Posted on 25 September 2022

I injured my knee in a heavy fall and was advised by 111 to attend a walk in centre. Staff were friendly and informative from the start. We were advised it was around 1 hr 30 min wait to be seen but I was seen by a doctor, had an X-ray and saw the same doctor within an hour. Fortunately no major damage but I was given really clear information on what to do to help recovery at home. Overall, a very impressive, informative and friendly service from start to finish.

  8. Review titled Thank you

Rated 5 stars out of 5

My 16 month old son twisted his arm falling over this morning. He was clearly in pain and within an hour he had seen a fabulous nurse who quickly ‘re-set’ his arm. He is fully able to move his arm again and pain free. Tmh is a wonderful facility the community are incredibly lucky to have - thank you!!

  9. Review titled awful service

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 07 August 2022

Went in to the hospital for my issue and the nurse straight away had a very dismissive nature. Instead of asking me questions about my symptoms, how long I had this issue, she straight away asked me what I have been using to treat this. As I am on benefits and medically exempt I asked if I could have the medication prescribed and she said no as it is over the counter prescription. I have been prescribed medication for the same issue before. Also my Gp Livi have prescribed me medication that is available over the counter this year. She clearly did not want to help me and her nature was very dismissive. I also showed her what medication I was given for the same issue this year and she didn’t want to listen. I checked the NHS website and my condition is not one of the conditions where you can get over the counter medication! Absolutely awful service. Not happy
