From discovering a lump in my right breast 6 weeks ago, to having the lump removed this morning, I have recieved a 5star treatment from everyone at the Empress unit and Surgical admissions lounge Everyone has been kind, considerate, professional and loving Thank you everyone You all made easier for me and very very very Quick!!!! God bless you all Xxxx

I walked into a&e this evening feeling very scared after having some high blood pressure readings. I’d rang 111 and someone was supposed to have called me back and they never did. Within 2 hours I’m travelling back home with meds, and prescription and advice. I was quite upset and worked up which wasn’t helping the blood pressure machine. But the staff were so caring and put me at ease. Big thank you for helping me this evening.

I attended the A & E on Saturday with low peak flow and short of breath. I was immediately wheeled in from reception and passed to an excellent caring nurse in a navy uniform. I wasn’t able to get her name to thank her. She dealt with me so effectively with care and understanding. May all the care she gave be rewarded many times over Also the care on the AMU and Chestnut Ward was excellent the staff friendly and helpful. Overall excellent hospital.

Went to a accute emergency dept-main building-ruptured tendon right hand - sun late afternoon 29.10.23-gp had totally positive attitude-had exray-he somehow managed to get me appointment hand clinic east grinstead for tues 31.10.23-miraculous-in today’s world Very, very grateful Very,very. Grateful

Consultant was totally lacking any empathy, was blunt and rude. Over 2 weeks after procedure no update or results despite being told I would have. No contact details given and no way of chasing these up.

On 20th September at night I was in A&E and the team were amazing. The triage nurse was patient, polite and understanding. The phlebotomist who done my bloods was so patient, understanding and friendly. She was also chatty to myself and sister which made us feel at ease. The doctor who we saw explained things clearly so I understood what was happening and he put my mind at ease. Was reassuring and helpful. Overall a great experience. Thank you to the team who supported me that night.

I have no idea why GP surgery people push non urgent,non emergency patient to go to A&E . And there the reception staff are feeling proud of waiting time .

Be very careful when the patient you are attending to is a nurse by profession. You don't address the patient by their complaint. I have a name, not "chest pain." You did an ECG without saying a single word to me and just pulled out the leads as if those were not attached to me. You are definitely not for healthcare because you don't obviously have the Cs of nursing.

I’ve been calling the theatre scheduling department for 6 weeks and still no answer I wouldn’t mind but I was given a telephone number to contact the department it doesn’t make sense

Trouble getting through to a person & the department and when explained that I had not heard from them with a date for appointment told that they will contact me and it could be up to a year
