    This surgery never recovered from Covid. You call at 8am and you are caller 49 in the queue. By the time you get to speak with someone all appointments are gone 'try again tomorrow' is their motto. 'Oh and you can also book appointments on the patient access app' - those appointments released at 9pm and gone in a nano second. Patients simply cant get appointments to see their GP about some really serious conditions and this surgery is a farce.

    I am sorry you did not manage to book your appointment. As you must be aware, there is a well-documented national shortage of GP’s, increase in demand for GP services and population growth which is out of our control. Nevertheless, I can reassure you that we are working very hard to see and care for as many patients as possible in a safe environment. The Vale Medical Centre

    I have now been trying to see a doctor for several weeks and even after trying almost every morning to get through at 8 the most I have ever been offered was a phone consultation. Having agreed to the consultation I found that my phone rang once for a few seconds in the afternoon and then cut off and I received a follow up message advising that they would try to call me back. After calling the doctor and waiting for 45 minutes in the afternoon I was told by the receptionist that they may call back but otherwise I would have to just try again the next day. I am genuinely worried that there is something wrong with me and have explained that but this surgery just doesn't seem to care

    Dear Richard, I am sorry to hear about your experience. Please could you contact the Practice Manager so that we can investigate this further? Our clinicians do try to reach patients 3 times when telephone consultations are booked. Nevertheless, I can reassure you that we are now offering more face to face slots.     I have tried to book appointment on line, login to the Patient Access exactly at 9Pm, a one appointment was available I have started to entertaining the reason and then it was taken by someone else. You cannot get through the call in the morning, what is going on with this practice.

    I read the reviews and just wanted to let whoever reads them that yes, they are busy and getting through the phones at 8 am is difficult. However, this is an issue that all practices are experiencing. I work in another GP Practice and it is the same. I always had a good experience with reception and with the clinicians. The GP I saw last week was extremely kind and did not rush the appointment. I was heard and reassured. I don’t think the reviews below are fair on the receptionists who have a hard time all the time.

    I have been 4 weeks trying to get a face to face medical appointment as I have a health issue that needs to ve seen, but it is impossible as never are appoinments available. Today I managed to get one phone appointment but receptionist was rudely expecting me to tell her exactly what is my medical issue and it is absolutely confidential, then she went even ruder because I told her that I was going to say it only to the doctor. Receptionists at thus practice are absolutely rude and deconsiderated. From the moment they answer the phone they are already talking with aggressive tone. I don't know what is going on with this practice but it is affecting in high scale the medical care of all of us Registered on that Gp. It will be a must to denunciate this centre as is putting in risk people's health and wellbeing.

    I have been a patient over 30 years and have never had a negative experience. Amazing surgery, reception, nurses, GP's are all caring and take time with patients. Top quality care all round! Very happy patient.

    I’ve been reading the practice responses to the not so favourable reviews due to the lack of appointments and lack of overall availability. They are all fairly vague and don’t offer any explanation or indication of how they will be addressing these issues. I simply don’t believe them when citing they are all too busy and doing whatever they can to help their patients. I feel there is a lack of GPs attending the practice and the practice might have a benefit in maintaining the no. of patients registered. How else I can explain that the only appointment available online at 9pm is within the next 8 weeks????? When I called last week they said they have 20 to 30% of their appointments available for online booking on daily basis. So clearly simply incorrect and untrue. I’m one of the ‘lucky’ ones to have a private GP subscriptions however I don’t know how this works for blood tests. Assume I’ll find a way. But dear Vale Medical Centre how about the rest of your patients who don’t have the private GP option? I’m expecting a response to include for the past year the daily average of your available GPs attending the practice, the daily average of appointments, the daily average of patients seen, the daily average of online appointments and the daily average of appointments you make on the day at your desk plus the total no. of registered patients. As public institution funded from the NHS tax all employees pay, it’s your obligation to make the information above transparent. Looking forward to your response.

    I recently joined this practice and while it is busy it is efficient when I compare it with my previous practice in north London. Thanks to the receptionist lady who helped me with my medication.

    Has never recommend since covid . . . You simply cannot get through to a person. It starts "you are caller 11" and eventually the line rings and rings and eventually goes dead. I wonder if there is anyone there at all. They don't even answer your questions by email. Patients are being treated Terribly with service like this.

    I had several appointments in August after contracting cellulitis. The condition was extremely painful, debilitating and worrying. The doctor and the practice nurse provided an excellent standard of professional care and advice that contributed to my full recovery. Despite being a busy practice, I was always given full attention and appointments did not feel rushed.
