I've been with Lonsdale for over 40 years and always had excellent care from the healthcare professionals. I've just had my annual review, which has been very thorough and efficient. In recent times, the much increased workload, and the national problems in recruiting and retaining capable staff, have put the admin systems under stress. But I'm very aware how hard the team are working to maintain a high standard of care and am grateful for their efforts

Despite the difficulties facing Lonsdale, I and my disabled partner have received wonderful care for over 40yrs. My partner has multiple health issues and has always been treated with great kindness: in fact he recently received a home visit from a delightful doctor. I would also like to mention the Over 75’s Helpline - the lady that answers is extremely professional and helpful at all times.

I came for my 4th B12 shot and I don’t even have words how nice and welcoming my nurse was. Shame I don’t remember her name. It was quick and painless. Thank you.

Although, in common with other GP practices, Lonsdale Medical Centre has been experiencing an extra high level of demand, coupled with staff recruitment issues, they continue to offer a good level of service. At my recent appointment, I was relieved to see a GP I trust, who attended sensitively to my medical needs and made me feel safe.

recently moved to the area so had to switch medical practice and it is appalling. i have had an appointment with the same doctor twice who on both occasions was very dismissive of my chronic pain and offered very little solutions to help. completely lacking in any empathy and compassion, something I’ve never experienced at the old doctors practices I’ve been to previously. Nothing worse than feeling like your issues won’t be taken seriously by a medical professional.
