    Excellent service, very kind and understanding staff,doctor's, nurses and reception .My mother being monitored closely with her medical condition which is very good.

    I am so happy this is my local GP. The staff always go above and beyond to assist you. I felt so put at ease at my recent check up, I was well informed and had all of my questions answered in a kind and considerate manner. I’m massively grateful for the level of care I receive from my practice, thank you.

    I first passed through the practice doors of St.Peter's mid way through 1983 and have been looked after by them ever since. During this period of time I've fortunately enjoyed reasonably good health but along the way I've also had some pretty bad experiences requiring hospitalisation. During all this time I have been ably supported by a very efficient team of genuinely nice and highly competent people and I am not overstating things when I say that their standard of care is why I'm still alive today. I feel very fortunate to have been a patient at this practice for all this time and would recommend it to anyone wanting to be looked after by a well run and capable GP practice.

    The E-consult was a waste of time as was told to contact GP. It took a while to get through to reception, but once I did, it was quick and painless. Locum Doctor was great, asking questions and showing genuine concern. Gave a diagnosis and mentioned other useful topics for health. Lady at Reception was friendly and helpful This was probably the best interaction with the practice for 18 years :)

    Dear Sanjeev, thank you for taking the time to feedback about your recent experience of the practice. I am glad that the GP you saw was able to sort out your issue quickly and effectively, i have passed this feedback on to them. I am sorry the E-consult service did not work at this time, often patients are re-directed back to the Practice if the E-consult picks up any red flags, that it feels may need to be dealt with more urgently.     filled out e consult at 7am in the morning clearly stating my symptoms (cough, wheezing etc) received a text saying I had been referred to the pharmacy, spoke to the pharmacy who said they were unable to diagnose but they thought I should be seen by a doctor so yet again for the 5th time this year I have had to pay to go private for myself or one of my children because the complete incompetence and lack of care at this surgery - turns out I have a chest infection which the doctor said if left would have only worsened, he was infact horrified that i’d been fobbed off to a pharmacy - it’s got to the point where I actually feel like it is now pointless calling this surgery or filling out an e consult (as they tell you to do rather than booking you in when you call anyway) - definitely will be leaving for mine and my families future safety! shame as I have been with the surgery for 45 years!

    Many thanks for taking the time to feedback about your recent experience of the service, i am very sorry to read this has been such a negative experience for you. A GP does triage all the e-consults/ e-lites submitted by patients and if they feel appropriate, sign posts them to the relevant service. It would be helpful to know your details so that i can pass this on to the GP who triaged your E-consult on this day? Unfortunately as this review is anonymous, i am unable to contact you directly. If you are able to drop a note in to the reception FAO Laura Mayo Practice Manager, or send an administrative task through the E-consult section on our website, again for my attention, i will ensure this is fed back.     Every time I have needed a GP visit I havent been able to use the practice. I have been registered in this practice for 3 years now. The phone line is always busy and never been able to get hold of someone. Those few times I did speak to reception only, they were not helpful and had to use 111 to get me a gp appointment.

    Dear Ada, Thank you for taking the time to feedback to us. I would completely agree with you, it is getting harder to get through to our phones lines week on week. A lot of this is due to Receptionists filling out E-lites for patients not using the E-consult service online. We are getting a new, cloud based telephone system installed, that has more lines and should inform patients of the waiting time in the queue, so that you can decide if you wish to wait. Secondly, with the new GP contract starting on the 1st April, we are not allowed to simply say we are full or at capacity, we have to navigate patients to other appropriates service, which is why when we have reached our safe limit per day, patients have / will be signposted to 111. We have changed our phone message to let patients know that they should fill out an E-consult in the first instance and encouraged staff to only fill out E-lites for those who do not have access to a computer, or are unable to use one so that we do not block the phone lines. On average at the moment, we take around 7-10 minutes filling out E-lites for patients who could have filled this out online. We are trying our best to address these issues and we completely understand at times it can be very frustrating for patients. We hope the above changes will ease the bottle neck on the telephones so patients are able to get through easily. Thank you again for your feedback. Laura Mayo Practice.

    After being told I need to see someone face to face I replied to a appointment text and went to my appointment for them to say no one will see me! I replied within 4 working hours to the text which was received Friday afternoon I replied Monday morning as I needed to get the time off work. They had given my appointment to someone else and didn't tell me until the day of my appointment. I also had to wait 50 mins in the surgery taking time off work and had to sit next to a sick child with a rash. Horrendous service.
