I sent in an e consult online in the the morning, and received a phone call from a doctor at lunchtime. After a brief consultation, medication was sent to my local pharmacy. An outstanding service, thankyou.

Econsult system was really easy to use and received a prompt response. Follow up appointments have now been booked. My GP listened and was interested in my problem as well as my well-being

Thank you for this invaluable feedback to us but also to other patients in that the system works. Additionally, very good to hear that the clinicians are managing patients in a very holistic way - which is very motivating during these difficult times in the NHS of high demand and stress but only thinking of the patient and not themselves. Thank you for taking the time to feedback - really highly appreciated! We have a great team, clinical and non-clinical and such positive feedback always motivates us to continue and help patients even more. Less positive feedback, although is good learning can be very demoralizing as many people don't always appreciate the background work ongoing at the practice. Our new staff will also learn from this in that efforts don't go unrecognized. Many best wishes and thanks again.

I was very surprised to receive a phone call from a doctor less than 10 mins after submitting a Klinik request. He gave me some useful information. I have to say that this speed of response does not always happen, in fact sometimes I have waited days for a response and on one occasion never got one. Overall, staff are very good, when you get to them, but I think there is more to be done.

Thank you for this feedback - we are trying to put in place processes and clearly in this case worked. However, given the volume of demand, and management challenges faced over the past 6 months, we still have a long way to go to stabilize the merged practice - but we are progressing. Whilst we have our concerns and negative feedback about the Medical Practices we also have to be fair in giving praise. Today I filled out the Klinic online forms which I will admit does take time and maybe not as good as having a face to face with the Doctors but it worked well and within an hour I had a call from the Doctor who discussed my issue and was warm in his approach and understanding. A prescription was sent straight across to my Pharmacy and the whole process from filling in the form to collecting the tablets was less than 3 hours. So I can only say excellent service in this instance and thank you. Hopefully a sign of positive things to come going forward

On 21 Dec 2023 I rang to try & sort out a prescription that was sent to a Pharmacy in Liverpool by mistake. The operator I spoke to said there was nothing that could be done so I asked for a consultation appoinmtent with a Doctor as at the time I didn't have access to the internet. The operator told me she couldn't do that, but after reminding her that she can fill the online form out if the patient doesn't have internet access she reluctanly did. I didn't expect the to speak with a Doctor that day & she informed me it would be 2/3 days. I have heard nothing because it was Christmas I expected to wait longer & after Christmas have sent a couple of emails enquiring about this consultation appoinment. These emails have not been responded to & it has now been 22 days I have been waiting for this appoinment. My condition hasn't improved & if dealt with in a timely manner I expect would have clear up by now. I would appreciate it if somone would confirm if this appoinment is still active & a time frame that I would be talking to a Doctor.

Not everybody is efficient on computers, There is no reason we cant go into the surgery and book an appointment, its very discriminatory ! to expect to answer 100s of questions on the klinik form which goes on an on gets very monotonous, Shame how you refuse to cater for normal people Ringing up is very dodgy has to the receptionists do love cutting calls after you been hanging on for 45/60 minutes . Despite the phone in front of them they like winding you up by ignoring calls from my experience There are receptionists that need desperate training in customer an give the good 1s a bad name

Thanks for this and sorry for the inconvenience. i think there is a misunderstanding - of course you can go in to make an appointment as the receptionist will complete the Klinik form on your behalf. We use Klinik to ascertain the request for appointments and this is to help ensure that you get the right service in the appropriate time-frame. We have many practitioners who may be best suited to your need and hence more efficient for you eg if you need a joint injection, not all doctors do this and hence a triage via Klinik will mean you see the right doctor who will do this. If you can access Klinik yourself, there are only a few questions, and you can say "not applicable" to move onto the next one. These Klinik forms are reviewed by a doctor very quickly and actions taken as appropriate to the enquiry. The NHS has told us that we HAVE to use internet phones and very occasionally (not so recently i might add) they do drop off unfortunately. You can also, with out phone provider, use a call back facility which is in place when you are waiting some time and we will call you back. So hopefully this explains that we are trying to help our patients as much as we can. There is an ongoing training programme for all staff/receptionists and if you have had an issue then do please let us know personally at the practice and we can look into which staff member needs further training. Apologies again but i hope this explanation helps in some way , and thank you

Telephone consultations can be just as useful as face-to-face consultations in some circumstances, as many patients don't need to be seen. Glad you got the serviced you needed and many best wishes.

I used the on-line service. Received a F2F appointment for the next day. The GP was thorough and reassured me over a worry I had. I felt listened to and not rushed. I was also sent useful information to help me manage my conditions. Plus uegent referal for further investigation. I have used the on-line service in the past and have always found the response timely. Cannot fault the service and attention I received. Highly recommend this practice and cannot thank and praise the GP I saw enough.
