    New to this surgery but 10/10 for the entire ringing reception too doctor call too blood test too results , at my last surgery i would still be waiting for a return call , residents of swaffham you dont know how good this surgery is compared to other places .

    My experience was good today. I saw a Nurse to redress a wound on my finger. The nurse was gentle, caring and sorted out the redressing of the finger wound easily. She then booked some appointments so that a continuity of care could continue for the treatment, and I could see her each time.

    I had been bitten by some black flies in the garden the previous evening which resulted in bites made to the lower part of my leg, front and back. I telephoned reception who asked me to send in a photo via their website, of my ankle/leg and rising extreme swelling, redness and pain. I could not put my shoe on either due to the swelling. The pain during the night was horrendous in just putting my foot to the floor! However after attaching a photo online to website, within a four hour window, a doctor rang and after asking relevant questions etc said she would give me antibiotics and then to assess after a few days if the redness kept rising up my leg. Now that's what I personally call a very efficient service! With getting prompt treatment, it cleared up in a week and a half. So thank you to the doctor who treated me. The triage system itself, does work, as they are trained to assess different situations, so please put your trust in them.

We are able to treat many conditions without the need to bring a patient in for a physical appointment, saving the patient time and enabling quicker outcomes. We will always assess requests and make a clinical judgement should the patient require a Face to Face appointment.
