I am so frustrated and becoming increasingly angry with the practice at this surgery. It's impossible to see my GP and I'm struggling with 'online consults' where I have to speak to so many different people i.e. locum doctors, and pharmacists who neither know me nor my particular problems or my medications. I find it extremely embarrassing having to discuss some intimate issues with complete strangers, and stressful when they can't find the information needed to make changes to my medication following blood tests. Moreover, I'm angry that there will be no more face-to-face appointments and no one even bothered to inform me. I had to find out when I visited the surgery. Also at this visit, I asked for a dossette box for my many medications but was questioned publicly and loudly by a receptionist about my reason for the request. I'm already embarrassed that I'm disabled and unable to complete certain tasks like fine movement in my fingers whereby I have to fiddle around with medication blister packs and keep dropping the tablets. The surgery has certainly gone downhill!

Please be reassured that we still see a majority of our patients on a face to face basis, although for some of those, this is not always necessary and a phone call or SMS works more suitably.
