    Be on the phone at 08:00 and be handy with the redial button to get in the queue and listen to music on hold only to be told there are no appointments left for today and you can't book for tomorrow etc.. The excuse for this is " we're extremely busy " , well why do you have a big sign outside " accepting new patients" if you can't cope with the ones you have already?

You can also get through to the practice by visiting our website and sending us an online form should you require an appointment or complete the admin form for any administrative matters. Our telephone lines are extremely busy particularly when we first open, we receive almost 12,000 telephone calls per month and hold over 13,000 appointments per month. Again, we apologise that you have been unhappy with the service and we continue to monitor our appointment system and to try and improve services to patients. D Snow Manager

    Absolutely shocking for a medical practice. Been with this doctors my entire life. The past 2-3 years I have needed my gp more than ever before. Not a single time to this date have I seen my actual gp for my health conditions. You just get passed from person to person its Absolutely soul destroying having to inform every single doctor you see for the same issues your facing. After trying to get an appointment booked again for the 3rd time this week. I can't even book one cause they are all gone within the first hour of opening. Then the only advice you get is to go to a+e or to a third party health centre. Putting more strain on the nhs. If that's the best you can do to meet your patient needs, I will happily move to a more competent surgery. Never known anything like it, how are you supposed to get help off your GP if you never see them directly. I will be changing my surgery today cause I am at the end of my tether with this place. Avoid this practice and go elsewhere they can not cope with current patients needs and as a patient of this surgery for 33 years I have lost faith in this place entirely. I am going to sign up to a new practice I am fed up of not being able to see my doctor it's shocking. As a practice you should be ashamed of the services you are providing.

    I'm so sorry to read that you have had such a negative experience at our surgery. Like many other practices we have seen a huge increase of need and are currently offering over 13,000 appointments per month, 65-70% of which are face to face. We also have an online form available from 8am for appointment requests however we are always looking into ways to improve access for our patients.     Really pleased how quickly I was referred to hospital. I know a lot of people still can't get a GP appointment but I had no trouble.

    I attended the surgery with my elderly mother in law who was having the flu jab .I asked if it was possible I had mine too and the lady was so accommodating despite having to leave the room to get my flu vaccine ,with a smile on her face too

    It extremely difficult to get an appointment, I could only get appountments with nurses, who I have to say were excellent, very thorough, I am not sure how Ill you have to be to get a Doctor's appt, and if you cannot fill in the request form on line, they make it obvious that you are a nuisance
