  1. Review titled Appalling ADHD team

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Jillian Egan - Posted on 14 June 2022

Due to an admin error on their part, the ADHD assessment team unjustifiably dropped me from their service before ever once contacting me. I waited a year for this appointment after being referred and never once received a phone call, letter, or email from them. My GP told me they claim I did not respond to a text, which is why they dropped me. While it is wildly unprofessional to contact a new patient solely via text message, I certainly would have answered if I had received one - but they never texted me at all. I have called and emailed them to find out what happened and give them a chance to rectify their mistake before I make a formal complaint, but they have not returned my calls. This is absolutely shocking to me. I have never had my health treated so cavalierly by a medical team. Utterly heartbreaking and infuriating. I do not like to leave poor reviews, as all humans make mistakes, but I feel they've left me with no choice. I just hope they realise what they've done and decide to do right by me.

  3. Review titled Incompetent GP surgery

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Rob - Posted on 02 August 2022

I have been with this surgery for 31 years and when it was located at Station Road I never had any reason to make a compliant. Since all the money that has been spent on the move to Woodside Road it has become a shambles. You can’t get an appointment queuing at the surgery at 8am when it opens nor by phone call, always waiting over 30 minutes before an answer. You can’t make an appointment beyond the day you phone or call round.I was asked by a doctor to make an appointment at the surgery only to be told by the receptionist that there were non available. These problems continued for days and I only got a telephone appointment after continuously complaining. I even asked to speak to the practice manager to make an official complain only to be told I could phone on a certain date and time which was 24 hours later. The NHS should be ashamed of themselves allowing a surgery to be run the way Haydock Medical Centre is run. Shame on you.
