    Really helpful staff at Havens Health Reports and Clinical Support Team, assisting me in getting a medical form signed by the GP. Very professional and kind on the phone, listened and understood my questions and gave 'above and beyond' assistance.

    I have used the services over the past few weeks. On all occasions the people on reception, nurses and doctors have all provided both professional and excellent service and care. The recent flu vaccination was very well managed. Thank you all very much.

    I was seen by the doctor on the day that I telephoned the surgery, very impressive. The doctor was thorough, very helpful, and I did not feel rushed. The receptionist should also be mentioned, she was very welcoming and kind. I feel extremely fortunate to be registered with such a good practice.

    I have been going to the surgery for a number of years now. I have always asked for Dr Irma as I feel comfortable, at ease and find it easy to chat with her and she is a brilliant doctor. I had asked for Dr Irma but was told by reception I wasn't allowed to see her and was given another doctor. I had my appt with Dr Syred, I had spoke with her in the past. I can honestly say that I felt at ease, comfortable and could talk openly about my symptoms. I did feel embarrassed but that's just normal. I was really pleased with how my appt went and so pleased I was listened to and everything was explained in easy terminology and I was given options.

    Hello This is not so much a complaint but a request for more care & consideration. I regularly have blood tests to check my main organs are functioning properly, inflammation, iron, vitamin D etc because i take a large cocktail of drugs to manage my illness. This is done every 2 months. One of the improvements I appreciate is that the surgery ring ne to make the appointment now rather than me remembering to make the appointment. However, what i don’t appreciate is when i am given the location of my blood test it is often the wrong site. It will be either the Meridian or Rowe Avenue. Every time i speak to the appointmakee, i confirm the location and say i’ve been sent to the wrong place before. The appointment maker will confidently say yes it is the location they have given me. The last time she called regarding the appointment, i checked the location and she appeared annoyed that i questioned her. Thus morning i turned up 10 minutes early at Rowe Avenue and was told it’s definitely not there but Meridian. This is all annoying and inconvenient. Especially, when stuck in school traffic and have to get to work on time. So please can the appointment makers be accurate and courteous when making appointments for patients. It’s not difficult to get things right.

    Monday 101 calls not answered Tuesday 30 calls not answered Wednesday spoke to pharmacy still no appointment Thursday 40 calls got through; no appointments available try again at 2pm. I have been taking the same medication for 12 years with no problems, but moved to a new town/doctors who have flatly refused to acknowledge my previous doctors and have put me through hell with new medication that does not work and now forcing me to go to A & E for help!!

    I tested positive for covid…I phoned the surgery and got an appointment immediately and was prescribed antibiotics and to call back if I needed. I called the next day and was told curtly that it was for medical emergencies only …feeling panicked as I was trying to keep this under control and stay out of hospital…the receptionists are always so helpful .. Unfortunately not the one I spoke to on that day ! felling vulnerable and helpless…

    I have tried to get an appointment with Havens Health surgery for over a year now. You can rarely get through on the phone. The phone lines are often down, awaiting repair, then on the rare occasion you do get through the appointment is in 2 wks time. We have had to do 2 trips to AnE for my partner and then my daughter because of not being able to get an appointment, it looks like we're about to do a 3rd trip for myself. I have had to get flu and covid jabs from our chemist as you cannot get through to book anything. It's impossible to book a smear test when apt are 2 wks in advance and I have irregular periods, mines over a year overdue now. I guess nothing will change until someone dies. AnE should not be an alternative to getting a doctors appointment, but that is the reality for Peacehaven and Telscombe Cliffs residents since 2 surgeries in our area closed during the last few years. Appalling service due to cuts and can only assume its down to our conservative government.

    Dear Patient, I am sorry to hear that you have not been able to make an appointment for urgent or even routine matters such as cervical smear, and have made trips to our local Accident & Emergency department. We have been working very proactively over the last few years to improve our telephone system and patient access. We are still having problems with our telephone provider which we are trying to resolve. Over the last couple of months we have changed our appointment system for doctors which has significantly improved access for patients and we have had lots of positive feedback from patients. We are also proactive with booking smears, and every year we do a cervical screening awareness week where additional appointments are available for smears. Unfortunately I am not able to contact you to help more specifically with any of the issues you have raised as your comment was made anonymously.     I have had to use the services over the past few months. Always get an appointment or GP call back. Sometimes there is a queue on the phone system but the call back works a treat. The receptionists, GP,s, Health Assistants and all the staff have been so kind and helpful to me. I am so grateful to them all for all the care they gave given to me.
