    Arrived for appointment early. Booked in on screen which stated ‘waiting area 3’ downstairs. Appointment was 9am, I checked with reception at 9.15am as appointment was late only to be informed that GP had been calling for us in location 4 which was upstairs

    Just wanted to say that I’ve consistently been having really good experiences with Hall Green Health since using the Anima service to request an appointment. At first I found it quite onerous to fill it all in but it’s clear the more detail you give the quicker they can either offer you an appointment or point you in the right direction

    HGH have proved again what an exceptional Surgery they are. The staff and Doctors work well as a co ordinated team to get an appointment for you stress free. Today I used the new Anima appointment request online service, I completed it with ease and appreciated the prompt at each stage for relevant information. 15 mins after submitting it I received a phone call to offer me a GP appointment in approx 1.5hrs time, F2F and followed up with a text confirmation. I was impressed at the speed and also at the appointment offered so quickly - mine was for a painful accidental injury whilst not a medical emergency or anything exciting it was a concern for me and to get this response was impressive. I visit regularly and notice the improvements HGH are continuing to make, eg the health booths for BP etc and today I was pleased to see 2 receptionists and 1 staff walking around for queries - I was concerned I might have been waiting in wrong area. The Security man is helpful and reassuring it feels like “normal” again at long last which gives me confidence for future plans. Well done Hall Green Health, you are all appreciated.

    I rang for an appointment at 8.30 on 8th February. When they phoned me back l was told there were no more appointments but l could have one if l agreed to be filmed for the Doctor's Behind Closed Doors or l could go to somewhere in Greet. When l said l could not get there they found me an appointment at Shirley Road. The Doctor l saw there prescribed a weeks antibiotics and told me if it didn't clear up to come back and ask for another appointment. I tried to book one through the new Anima system, filled in pages of irrelevant questions, and the plan they sent back was to go Katie Road - wherever that is. I am a patient at Hall Green Health, have been ever since they opened, and l want to be seen there. I have Never had any problem getting an appointment at Hall Green Health before. Why on earth have you started this new useless system?

    I have the same mobile number for myself and my mother but the system does not accept this. Totally useless. I can't even book urgent medical appointments and I waste hours and no one can help me.

    I booked an appointment on anima. I haven't been to this practice in a while. So i assumed anima would text me before. I didn't get a text which is fine and I came on the dot. I tried signing in multiple times with no help. I then went to reception who informed me that I'd missed the appointment even if I was a min late? This would be completely fine if I was told at all which I wasn't. There were no signs saying that don't come even a minute late or you'll not be seen. This was really upsetting as I had waited and traveled for no reason. I wouldn't of been that upset tbh but the lack if care from reception really upset me. She acted as if I was stupid or dumb enough to come even a few minutes late and seemed frustrated with me even though I'd barely spoken to her. Quite upset and just wanted to review so I can help others and maybe get a few things to change? There needs to be more communication. Either way I'm now moving to a different practice others have recommended but wish the best for anyone going to HGH :)

    I went with my daughter today to see the GP, I think he is new to the surgery, I must say that we were both impressed by the GP and his fast response to our concerns, everything was sorted and other appointments made while we were there for other tests. This GP did more for us in 20 minutes then all the other visits put together, we need more of this sort of GP asap.

    Today I used the new online appointment request and in less than an hour I received my plan and appointment the staff seem to continually be looking at ways to improve things for patients eg the events it is a pleasure to engage with this Practice and the Drs are top class. Always clean and tidy much evidence of this. Presence of Security Person friendly gets involved chats and directs patients etc. Receptionists listen, all surgeries should be like this one.

    Since joining HGH 2 years ago I have noticed a steady decline in the service provided. The new booking system Anima doesn't work and I was unable to book an appointment for a chest infection for 24 hours, during which time I became so unwell that my wife had to call an ambulance. After finally managing to use the booking system I waited 4.5 hours for a response. Don't even try to phone the practice, you'll be walked through messages then hung up on. To add insult to injury, half of the already car park has been cordoned off for the TV crew,with no signage to inform visitors that there is no space to park, causing a potential hazard for local traffic and visitors. It has become apparent that Hall Green Health are much more interested in being on television than caring for their patients.

  10. Review titled Useless new appointment booking system Amena

    (1) Every day they ask if I smoke or drink, every day, every day! (2) I tried to book a gp appointment and they message a few hours later saying log in and book again tomorrow, no, just book me yourself tomorrow, why do I have to try again, it's your job. (3) It used to be a few clicks to book appmts, now it's 20 useless repeating questions. No 'book appointment' button anywhere so you spend half an hour every time trying to find it, useless software but they only use it as it’s now free!!!
