    Came in for bloods, was seen on time and nurse explained the process she was undertaking fully and how to get my results. Reception staff very helpful and polite. Very positive experience

    Changed to this GP recently and all I can say is how caring and attentive everyone has been. My meds have been changed so they are now safe and the reception team are always happy to support me. I understand they are busy so im always patient and polite and have a laugh with them, thanks all. John

    I moved practices as I did not have a great experience at my old doctors. Seen a nurse for the first time the other day and she was really helpful and approachable. Happy to have changed doctors now.

    I don't usually visit the surgery but went in for a personal appointment, saw a really lovely doctor who listened and was very caring. Actually I have to say all the staff have been friendly in my experience! Thank you.

    I was forced to find a new surgery because of change of address. NHS gave me 4wks so I picked this one. I booked a face-face appointment with a doctor only to be told I was at the wrong surgery! Oh we have another one! I was not told this when I signed up, information / induction would have been great! I wouldn't have made it to there other surgery so the receptionist changed it to a telephone appointment! I didn't receive that call!!!! I called the surgery to ask what happened, they told me doctor called several times! I should phone to book another appointment at 8am as they have none available. I called at 8am the machine said they can not take my call they are at full capacity call back later and hung up! I have tried again and got the same message and phone slam down. As a new patient I am disgusted as I am going through treatment and have a disability. I didn't want to change surgeries but had no choice! I called to ask for my repeat medication on the 15th march, they processed it on the 21st! 7 days later! This is not acceptable as a new patient this is unhumain when I called the first time I told the receptionist I was in need of my repeats. I had a appointment with the nurse and was asked what else was wrong with me after taking my blood pressure! I walked in with a walking stick dragging my left leg!!!! She was sat in front of my notes! This practice needs serious training.

    Hello Elizabeth We are very sorry to hear of the issues you have encountered with our practice as a newly registered patient. We have established that no copies of practice leaflets were available on the day you registered which would of course have given you all the details in regards to the practice, for this we are very sorry. I am also very sorry to hear that you had problems with accessing your repeat medications and I would be more than happy to look into this for you in a more detailed investigation as this should not have happened - sadly I am unable to do and comment further at this time as this as I only have your first name, but if you would like to make an appointment to see me I would be more than happy to go through all of the concerns you have raised here. Again we are continually adapting our appointment rota's / booking systems to try to alleviate the problems that patients experience when trying to get through to the practice first thing on a morning.     I'm registered at slater st and have to travel to cordly st or the Yew Tree to see a gp why.?on a recent appointment at yew tree surgery the gp failed to notice the severity of my medical problem, partially due to the fact he did not examine me ,only looking at me from a distance,thanks to his lack of duty of care my symptoms worsened and I ended up in hospital.i would not recommend any of the surgery's in this group to any one.making an appointment is all but impossible by phone,your only hope is queuing outside from 7-30 in the morning.which is not always possible.as I suffer with with severe arthritis.

    Hello Stephen Thankyou for your review left on the choices page firstly We would like to apologise for the problems that you have encountered when accessing services at the surgery and I will try to address each of the concerns you have raised. We have GPs at all 3 sites and Im sorry you were unable to book with the GPs that we have at Slater Street as we do have 2 GPs at this site on a regular basis. I'm sorry that the consultation you had at the Yew Tree site was not to the standard you were expecting and you subsequently were admitted to hospital we will of course investigate this further and we have highlighted this with all GPs across all sites to ensure this does not happen in the future. Across the 3 sites we have 6 receptionists answering calls from 8am and im sorry that your are experiencing difficulties getting through to us we are continually adapting our telephone systems to try address the demand to ensure we get to speak to everyone as soon as possible. I would be more than happy to have a more indepth conversation with you in regards to the issues you have raised should you wish to do so. If you wish to have this conversation please contact reception after 11am to ask one of the team to either put you through to me or leave a message and I will call you back.     I had gone in with a consultation about a rash that had spread across my skin, the gp did not even look at it, just said a blood test straight away, kept interrupting when I was trying to explain my issues. I was more or less rushed out if the room in less than 2 minutes, and just given a number so I can book my own blood test. Completely useless

    Everytime I call to make an appointment at 8pm on the dot. I’m 10th in queue, 8:45am I’m still on hold to be told there’s no appointments. I don’t understand for a large practice like greatbridge why there isn’t enough staff to answer the phone, I’m now without repeat medication as I can’t get an appointment I’ve tried for 3 days straight

    Hello, thankyou for your message, we are sorry that you had issues when trying to make an appointment, we do ensure we have enough staff across the sites to answer phones first thing, however, we do appreciate that some days the demand on the service can far outweigh the capacity we have. we would not offer an appointment with a GP for a repeat prescription as repeat prescriptions can be requested by either emailing the practice on its dedicated repeat request email account, or by speaking with the pharmacy you use on a regular basis and they will order for you. Again we are sorry that the process did not work as you would have wished but if you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact the practice and ask to speak to myself and I would be more than happy to have a conversation with you about any of he issues you have raised.
