I requested my Summary Care Record on 5th December, which is usually a 30 day process. I was sent mine after a day! Very impressed with the speed of the administration. I work in a large gp practice myself and I think they deserve some praise, well done and thank you

Pleasant staff at reception. Very friendly professional practice nurse carried out the procedure of irrigation to the ears with success. Overall a positive experience

When my daughter was badly scalded in an accident this summer, her wounds needed dressing regularly. The team’s nursing skills, kindness and compassion helped my daughter deal with not only her physical wounds but also the emotional side of the accident. We are so very grateful to all the Nursing team for helping my daughter on her road to recovery.

As a healthcare professional myself working in a busy A&E department, I know the current pressures the healthcare system is facing and I often see patients who are struggling to get appointments and follow up with their GP. Thankfully, I have never had this problem at this practice and I’ve been a patient here for 27 years. I’ve always managed to get appointments when I needed them and have been triaged appropriately to a range of services including physio, contraception clinics, nurse practitioners etc. Additionally the reception staff are always friendly and helpful both on the phone and in person. The clinicians and nurses are fantastic and I always come away from appointments feeling cared for and listened to. Overall, I’m very happy to be a patient at this practice.

The doctor was excellent, but the reception staff were highly unprofessional, rude and unhelpful. It's a shame that the front-of-house staff allow patients to receive such lousy service, ruining what could be a good practice. They seem to lose records regularly, fail to accept responsibility for this and leave you having to repeatedly complete the same paperwork to remain on their patient register. The practice must introduce a robust and continuous evaluation of its receptionists to bring back some minimum standard of customer service. Personally l, I will be seeking an alternative GP practice, and East Croydon Medical Centre is oversubscribed and it appears that the staff can’t manage the workload.
