When attending the surgery the staff are very pleasant and you are not kept waiting too long. The doctors and nurses are lovely and caring

I was issued with a prescription for Blackburn Royal Infirmary which was sent to this surgery, I rang the surgery on Tuesday 20th December and told that the letter had arrived and the prescription was waiting to be issued. I rang the surgery on Thursday 22nd December and told it was still awaiting issue!!!! Today 23rd December I went to the surgery but it still was not ready, I was told that it still was not issued as a doctor wanted to discuss it with me as it was similar to a tablet I was already taking. I said why was this as it had been prescribed by a urologist.The receptionist finally printed it off but told me it had to be signed and that ‘fortunately’ the person who needed to sign it was working that but I would have to wait 10 to 20 minutes for this to happen. I wonder how long it would have taken if I had not gone to the surgery.

I can't praise the doctors and all staff more highly. Fantastic care from appointment making to the doctor's who give the impression that you are the only person that matters when we all know how busy they really are

Shocking and gone down hill just called as had a chest infection for 4 weeks 2 lots of antibiotics not seen face to face dr messed the first prescription up giving insufficient medication resulting in a second prescription so paid over 20 pounds Called today and asked to be seen face to face told to ring at 8 am in the morning and I quote “if you can get through “ you might be offered an on the day appointment if not nothing till a week this Friday now The nhs are putting adverts on tv saying u must be seen if had a cough for more than 3 weeks very unsafe

Called in to make an opponent to see the doctor I was having difficulty breathing was told by the receptionist there was a 2 week waiting time I then asked if there was any cancellations which she said no..she did say ring 111 or call to the pharmacy and then mentioned going to A&E I called to the pharmacy who said immediately go to A&E and was admitted that same day

Extremely rude receptionist! . Can never get through on the phone and when you do you are turned away . Always an argument to get an appointment. Receptionist thinks there doctors Always an issue with them receiving information from other doctors! Never seem to get things on time . 2 weeks waiting on a referral for hospital from then which hasnt even been made ! Joke of a practice

Just called to book an appointment, and before i could explain what reason iam booking for ,i was told all pre bookable appointments,have been taken up this week ,and the only other possible possible, way is to get an on the day appointment is call from 8am , along with dozens of other people doing the same thing. Difficult when i have finished only a few hour after midnight, to be listening to a line either constantly engaged or ringing. Its a rarity i use this surgery ,plus its close by ,but it doesn't have seemed to have changed over the last 4-5 years .Iam now Looking for a New local surgery .

Have spent over a week trying to book a doctors appointment. When I did get through I was informed that the practice physio would give me a call back that morning . The receptionist was patronising and insisted that I had to have the call back. 3 days later still no phone call and the pain has increased. Will be visiting the A&E to see a doctor. Obviously contacting the practice manager is a waste of time as many other people have complained and still the attitude persists. Still waiting hospital test results from 12 years ago, luckily I saw the saw doctor in the hospital a few weeks after my test and he confirmed the results for me there. if you want to help cut the A&E waiting times then sort out practices like this one.
