    Nearly impossible to see a Doctor in person. Have been waiting 2 days for a call back which has never materialised. Only need a repeat prescription for blood pressure tablets. All the stress must have done wonders for my BP

    I phoned to get access to my medical record. The answer system said I was 17th in the cue. After 31 minutes waiting it said I was 1st in the queue but then a minute later it said I was 17th in the queue, again. This is not the first time the phone system has done this as it happened towards the end of last year as well. As I'm typing this complaint I'm still on hold. After 58 minutes I finally got through to a person only to be told that I would have to go into the surgery with ID and to fill out a form. It's a shame the website hadn't made that clear in the 1st place. As I've been registered with the surgery since 1988 I assumed further ID wouldn't be necessary. Shambles!

    For the 2nd time in a week, I had a telephone call appointment, which did not happen. Yet again, staff booked another for me next week when I am unavailable. They also sent me a message to ask when I was available , but with no option to reply. I rang and after being on hold at number 5, for an hour, I gave up. I now feel so stressed that I am looking into private health care, as this practice is failing in their duty of care towards me.

    For two solid weeks I was ringing to try and get a medication I have not required for some time but now need. Went into surgery and was told not getting it as not been prescribed for some time. I tried for a week to get a doctor to call to no avail. Eventually 111 sent them an e mail and I got my medication straight away. This surgery used to be good but I dread being ill in the future as I don’t think I will get the attention I would need.

    This morning I rang the surgery at 10.00 oclock. I waited over one hour on the phone for someone to talk to, but could not get through. Telephone system would not allow you to talk to anyone. It initially gave me a number 19 then it kept coming down; when I was on number 11, it went up again to, this time, 16, then kept coming down again. When it reached number 5, it went up again. I gave up. I then went to the surgery only to be told to try again tomorrow morning, but it has to be between 8am and 10am, but no guaranted. What am I supposed to do now?

    I had abnormal results from a blood test 2 weeks ago and was told to make an appointment. I spoke to a receptionist on Tuesday and she booked a call back for me on that day. No call. Today, I checked messages on the app and it said my appointment was finished on Tuesday and another had been booked for today, 48 hours later, without my knowledge. I visited the centre and explained I was unavailable. The receptionist said it was a face to face appointment on the Tuesday and I had not turned up. Yet, the app and the previous receptionist has said it was by telephone. I explained about today's appointment and she said a dr had made it. I explained I was unavailable and she cancelled it and said I could have one in a weeks time, but as the Dr had made a note saying the abnormal results was expected , then I did not really need to talk with a Dr, but could if I wanted to, but there were no appointments available when I was free. What does the phrase 'result was expected' actually mean? Now left considering my options. I find the whole system confusing and unworkable. The staff were all friendly and tried to help, but there was a breakdown in communication. The app said a Dr needed to communicate the relevant information, but I am obviously still waiting for that. After 2 weeks of waiting, I have had to accept it will not now happen.

    Long time for making an appointment with doctors Doctors prefere do diagnosis according no evidence, just words and poor quality of examination, using not appropriate methods for indivudual health condition Poor support by doctors If you start asking uncomfortable questions, means demonstrate some medical knowledge, you start to be accused as being rude, ignorant Lack of proper and professional medical support Lack of proper plan of medical treatment especially for long term diseases Lack of proffesional diagnosis, it looks like guessing maybe this maybe these Doctors do not read your history of sickness, they are not conciouse with your records in Anima app, whats for you use it if no one use it? Receptionists not bad but not helpful so much Should be seperated queue for people who have already booked appointment and for people who want to book appointment Not professional attitude towards patients, no empathy and no support

    This morning my husband and I attended the centre for an 11.25 appointment for his annual review. When we arrived there was a queue to see a receptionist but we went straight to the check in screen. We entered my husband's details only to find that it was not working. This seems to be a regular occurrence. We went back to the queue until we could attract attention to register our arrival. It transpired that our appointment had been cancelled due to staff sickness. The receptionist said that they had tried to contact us but this was untrue as our phone would have displayed a missed call message. My husband has dementia and was getting panicky as he does in such situations but we eventually managed to book another appointment. We had made a pointless journey for an appointment which my husband finds stressful at any time. Also, the new booking service is terrible in terms of time waiting in a queue and is only open until 10.00am. The online booking arrangement is not customer friendly with many patients not able to negotiate it, even staff say that they are still getting to grips with it so what chance do the patients stand. Totally unsatisfactory all round
