    Very contradictory when saying they are accepting new patients on NHS website but I have been trying to register for over a year now. Have not received any correspondence within 14 days on any of my applications. I am currently without a GP as I have moved and have been trying to deal with health issues on my own or wasting hospital time. I get directed to their 'AskMyGP' on their website and I have been sat at my desk at work two days in a row and it has not been active once.

    Reception are rude & unhelpful.. ask you for private information that you dont want the whole world hearing. They then repeat what you say again loudly..its so embarrassing & uncomfortable.

    Don't bother registering with this practice - when I first registered in early 2020 I was really impressed with how efficient and helpful the system and staff were, but it has all gone downhill since then. If you call up, expect to be in the queue for over an hour, and even then you might still not get an answer. Even the new system of getting a call back when you reach the front of the queue doesn't work. When going into the practice in person (as a last resort as phoning is hopeless) reception staff are often not very helpful, condescending, and don't seem to know what they are doing. Even simple things like getting a repeat prescription now take much longer than they should. Getting a face to face appointment with a GP is also near impossible, and when you do get one, you'll be kept waiting in a packed waiting room because they only see patients on site once or twice a week, so are inevitably always running late. Absolutely appalling service and I'm very glad to be leaving the practice.

    Honestly just avoid. I've struggled with serious Migraines for 8 years and have been trying to document and find the route cause, when they got worse I contacted the GP ( having been forced through a health practitioner (or someone along those lines), when I finally managed to speak to a GP she dismissed my data and understanding without asking any additional informaiton ( another GP has since confirmed that it could be the issue...) Availability is shocking, staff are hostile and don't even think you're getting through the door - I've been registered over a year now and I've never been able to see a GP in person which again I've been told is against regulation. I'm in the process of moving now as I don't feel safe at this practice and have totally lost confidence... Sadly another case of deterioration of service in the NHS

    I've never had such a positive experience with this practice. They have escalated all my issues without me needing to 'push' them to. Back during Covid, I needed to have further investigations following a routine smear test and they referred me to the hospital straight away and the whole process only took a few weeks which I was really grateful for. The issue is now resolved following treatment so I was really appreciative that the Nurse who did my smear referred me so quickly. You do have to be on the ball when it comes to logging onto AskMyGP at 8am in the week but whenever I do, I get a call back within 30 minutes to a few hours. If you try and log an issue late you will have to wait until the next day. The doctors and nurses I have seen at Blackfriars have all been wonderful, you can tell they are a really caring group of professionals. Thank you

    5 times I've requested diabetic medications weeks in advance and 5 times they've not been put through potentially putting me at risk of requiring hospital admission and intensive support.

    Online booking system doesn't work. You have to phone to book on the day, you can't book in advance. Massive phone queues mean you will struggle to get same day appointment. Rude staff on phone.

    Its really difficult to face to face appointment also very hard to get results on the phone will have to wait over one hour for the call to be answered this Clinic it used to be very organised but this days very poor service 0 out of 10

    I was prescribed the wrong medication twice. After speaking to a member of the practice on the phone both times, I was then given a prescription for anti histamines (!) instead of my regular anti depressants. I have been on this medication for almost 10 months so should be no issue providing the same treatment, yet I have gone to collect my new prescription I have been provided with anti histamines? When I’ve tried to discuss this with the practice I am met with not a care in the damn world, no empathy and not even an apology. I need that medication to be able to function, and as it’s quite strong going cold turkey for a few days is detrimental - something they didn’t care about when they wouldn’t provide the correct medication for several days afterwards. Absolutely apalling behaviour and treatment. Do not register here.
