Review titled Excellent!
Rated 5 stars out of 5

Arrived early on Saturday 3rd Sept. My dad's case ended up being a bit more than originally envisioned. They were clearly very busy. Despite this, everyone was fantastic, kind and patient! Thank you very much!! To everyone there.

Review titled 5 hours wait for basically nothing!
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Robert Thompson - Posted on 28 September 2022
My son had a suspected fracture on his wrist so I took him to this walk-in clinic and was told we would have to wait between 2 to 3 hours max, after a couple of hours my son was given a x-ray then we was made to sit and wait a further 3 hours to finally be told by a nurse that the doctors had gone home and they couldn’t tell from the X-ray the extent of the damage of my son’s wrist and that they’d have to get a doctor to look at the X-ray the next day and they’d phone us, so they put my sons wrist in a splint (which was too small for him!) and sent us on our way! A 5 hour wait for basically nothing! And nobody from the clinic called us! So instead my wife had to call them today to be told my son does have a fractured wrist and has been referred onto the fracture clinic at St Peter’s hospital! I took my son to the Woking walk-in centre as I believed it would have been easier than taking him to the actual hospital and wouldn’t have to wait as long, how wrong I was! Having to make an 11 chid wait for over 5 hours and not being given any diagnosis as to the extent of my sons injury is totally unacceptable! Now we have to wait for the fracture clinic at St Peter’s hospital to get in contact with us to have us bring him there to the hospital which if I had brought him there in the first place we would have saved all this hassle we are now having to face! I won’t ever use Woking walk-in centre again and won’t recommend anyone else goes there use the hospital instead as you’d get better care at any hospital then what you’d receive here!

Review titled Mixed experience
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by frank roberts - Posted on 07 August 2022
We arrived before the clinic was due to open on a Saturday and joined a long'ish queue standing outside with some 20 people the queue eventually moved slowly inside. As a Cancer patient standing outside with no seats left me in some pain until we got inside and I managed to get a wheelchair (there were no seats) - don't know why ?. I thought we would be given a form to start completing outside but was left until it was completed by the inside Receptionist. - don't know why - which was well over an hour after we arrived. However I must have been given some priority as I didn't have to wait long inside until I was seen by a highly capable member of staff who diagnosed my condition and speedily came up with the treatment/drugs I needed - so worth the wait & discomfort to get really good result..

Thank you so much for your feedback. We apologise that you had to wait an hour to be booked in. Unfortunately, our electronic booking in system has gone down, and we are currently using a paper version, which takes a little longer than the electronic version. In light of your feedback, we have listened to your comments and looked at ways to improve the booking in system, to help avoid patients standing for excessive periods of time while waiting to be booked in. We are pleased that once booked in your treatment was attentive and swift. Thanks again for taking the time to provide feedback.
