    I went to my optician on Friday she referred me to spa medica on the way home in car I received a call telling me I had an appt. On Monday at0830 I went there had fabulous service was booked in for surgery on Tuesday and all was done. What an amazing place. The staff were welcoming and professional. The place was spotlessly clean. The whole experience was truly amazing well done

    Thank you for the care and assurance given to me during both me operations. At 85 years of age you hear so many horror stories surrounding eye operations. The operations were under taken in a fresh environment and everything was clean and tidy. Anyone waiting to under take this operation, there is no need for trepidation. very friendly staff, from signing and registering up to departure after operation, I was treated with the utmost respect. If you had to go into hospital for anything, this he place to go. A Big thank you to you all.

    What a contrast to the lumbering NHS! Just had my cataract surgery and can't believe how smoothly and efficiently the whole process went. And not just efficient, but the staff were very helpful, polite and friendly too. This company's success is very well deserved.

    Had my cataract done today. Everything went so smoothly. Called in on time . Staff really nice. Couldn’t fault anything I’m home now and resting . 10/10

    I never thought that anything about the nhs could be run so efficiently but then again it looks like it has been outsourced to a well run private company , I had a cataract removed from my right eye which has restored my balance of vision. Well done to all and I mean all of the staff . A big round of applause 👏

    I have had both eyes done, one on 5th Feb the other on 1st March. Every single member of staff ( and you meet so many on your journey) was completely professional ,understanding and just a pleasure to deal with. I had an easy first eye and not so easy second eye, the latter obviating a check up the very day after surgery. I was assured by this precaution and it was explained that due to the second operation taking a little longer it would take twice the time for vision to clear. This is exactly what is currently occurring and I have a final check up in two weeks time rather than the customary 4 weeks as another precaution. Every aspect of the business from the appointment system ,head office interaction, girls on reception, old boy at the door, ( probably younger than me ), nurses, technical staff and surgeons are of the highest calibre. If this was a private service it would be impressive but for an NHS unit it is in my opinion exceptional. Thank you to every single member of staff at Spa Medica Romford.

    I arrived before my scheduled time and after reception I only waited 10 minutes before being called forward, the system flowed well and everything was explained clearly to me. The whole visit was completed under 3 hours. Well done.

    Had my pre op at Chelmsford on 4/3/24 and then had cataract surgery on 30/3/24 at Romford as the waiting time was quicker than at Chelmsford. I cannot recommend SpaMedica enough the staff are so friendly at both clinics and helpful and professional and talk you through each process of the surgery the waiting times are so good and the difference in my eyesight the next day was unbelievable would definitely recommend and much better than waiting up to 3 years at my local hospital. Thank you

    Have had cataract surgery on both eyes in February and March. Cannot fault these people and what they do. All of them are absolutely amazing. I was so very nervous for my second eye, but the nurses really went that extra mile to support me. As did the surgeon. Thank you All so very much for improving my eyesight ❤❤ and for being so supportive.
