The nursing staff were fantastic, made you feel at ease and that you were the only person they had seen today. Patient and kind. The doctor could learn from them he was like a robot walked through the door it felt like he pressed start on his record message then walked out, didn’t make me feel he had the time or interest in me. I know he has probably done lots of procedures today but at that moment I was the only one that mattered to me, a little human reaction goes a long way. Thank you to all the staff for your care and consideration

First class treatment on both eyes. Staff from entering the building all the way through were excellent and the surgeon was excellent Excellent aftercare. Always able to call to ring for advice

I have had cataracts removed from both eyes here and received first class treatment and care both times. All of the staff were friendly and caring and I felt at ease from the moment I walked in the building. I was in and out well within the 3 hours. The difference the operations have made to my vision is amazing. Thank you so much.

The staff were reassuring & friendly, the surroundings excellent, I attended my appointment with some trepidation, but was soon put at ease,there is a bit of waiting for the eye drops to take affect, then into theatre, lay down ,get comfy,& I thought the consultant was just checking my eye as all i could see was 4 bright lights moving about, I did not feel anything at all, then I was told " all done", & a shield was put over my eye, the procedure took only a few minutes, I have experianced no after effects, & the sight in the treated eye is excellent. I was sensative to bright lights which has gradually worn off as the days have passed,(turn down the brightness on your tv & mobile phone for when you come out). I cannot praise the exceptional skill & care of the consultant enough

Excellent no complaints I wish NHS could operate as efficiently for basic services.I was non scary welcoming and staff were clear concise and helpful I was almost enjoyable which coming from me is unusual.

Warm, friendly and informative. Each stage of the process was clearly explained. Made to feel relaxed and the surgery was over quickly. Lots of clear instructions on what to do post surgery

My second visit at spamedica, different practice this time. Extremely happy with quickness of operation on other eye and the result from that. Staff were lovely and I am so pleased I have had my eyes done.

I am in shock with how quick and how smooth everything went from being referred eight weeks ago to yesterday having my second eye repaired. Its so lovely to see proper colours again and to be able to read to my granddaughter without having to take pictures of the page to make bigger. The staff are so friendly from the moment you walk into the building and every department. The place is so clean to and the procedure doesn’t take long at all. I was in and back out within an hour and half yesterday. 10/10 spamedica Thank-you thank you thank-you

I was referred to Spa Medica on 30th April and had my cataract operation yesterday, only three weeks later. The staff are really friendly and efficient, the facilities are amazing and the whole procedure was professional and painless. I was in and out in less than ninety minutes and already I can see the difference in my vision. I expect it to take three weeks or so to settle down completely. I had not realised just how much the gradual loss of clear sight had affected me. Everything is so much brighter now! I have been told that my other eye has a cataract forming and I really can't wait to have that one seen to but I realise that it may have a way to go before it fulfils the criteria to justify an operation. When that day comes, I will not hesitate to head back to Spa Medica Romford.
