I was very anxious arriving for a diagnostic procedure. The staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and to try and help me feel calmer. They bothered to locate an wonderful anaesthetist who was then able to offer me a deeper sedation, which I really appreciated. Nothing seemed too much trouble for them at all. The whole team were reassuringly professional, efficient, communicative and made an experience that I had been so concerned about and will probably require repeating far less concerning. I’m so grateful for this wonderful care and experience. Thank you

Dreaded this appointment,thankyou to all the staff who made it calm,quiet,and very calming super efficient as before 100% not enough,never had time to thank the Doctor in charge. This the old NHS as it should be, Thankyou

Had hernia repair last Friday excellent service from start to finish ,very friendly staff from admittance through to surgeon,very good experience feeling great.

Visited the department for the third time. Consultant is very friendly. Always puts me at ease immediately and as a result there is no barrier between doctor and patient. I do get nervous but the consultant puts me at ease immediately. All the staff are very nice and friendly.

i had an xray 7/11 as i am still having a problem doctor tryed to get results to look at but they can not get them why

I cannot thank the staff in the endoscopy apartment enough for the service they provided me today. It was my first gastroscopy and had been suffering with symptoms with my stomach for months. I was so scared for the procedure as other peoples experiences can be daunting. However, the nurses made me feel at ease for anxiety straight away. I have no fear for my next appointment in a couple months time. Procedure was painless and with the sedation I don’t remember anything that happened and the nurses supported me the whole time.

I visited this walk in centre today and although there were quite a few people already there I was in and out in 15 minutes. They were very efficient and helpful.

I went in for a hernia op today and from the receptionist to the surgeon I had fabulous care. Plenty of time to ask questions. Very courteous and made me feel relaxed and confident. After care excellent too. Can't praise them enough. Thank you all at St. Mary's.
