Cataract surgery was painless & took no more than 15minutes. I was able to see immediately. I now realise how bad my ‘good’ eye is and will definitely have cataract surgery on that one too, as soon as possible. All clinicians & staff were very professional which helped me relax.

I attended the Clinic today for YAG laser capsulotomy. My welcome by the receptionist was fine as was the eye test, pressure measurement and administration of eye drops to dilate the pupils. After a short wait I was called in to meet a female. She briefly examined my left eye and immediately declared that I had already had laser treatment. I told her I had not. She looked at my right eye and said she could see I had already had laser treatment on that too, which I have not. I told her that I had once had laser surgery for a retinal tear many years ago. She was adamant that I had the laser surgery. I am 81 years old but I am not stupid and I do know what I have had done to my eyes. They are important to me. She then said she could treat one eye to get rid of a "wobble"! I asked if it would get rid of the clouding in my vision. She then said she would get a second opinion and the second doctor after a very brief examination said it would be alright to have the laser surgery. I asked if they could confirm that I had previous laser surgery from my NHS records and was told that the Clinic does not have access to them. By this point I had lost all confidence in her and the Clinic and said I did not want to continue with any treatment. My major complaint is that I was treated as too stupid to know what treatment I had already had.

An extremely professional and easy experience from start to finish. The staff were all very friendly and put me at ease with regards to my cataract surgery, from the preliminary appointment, the surgery and follow up telephone call. Additionally, a very useful information sheet explaining all processes from start to finish.

Absolutely first class service, and treatment ! All the staff worked extremely well together, there were no long waiting times either. I was put totally at ease by both nurses , clinical practicioners and the surgeon. My Surgeon was absolutely excellent, and I would really like to have him do my second cataract removal if possible!

You have an amazing team who are welcoming, friendly, dedicated and professional, you are put at ease from the minute you arrive. Many thanks for making the world a much brighter place for me again 👀

From the receptionist to seeing evryone in each room the whole experience was so easy. Every department explained things clearly and were very friendly which made it a pleasant experience.
