  1. Review titled Late Easter Monday

Rated 3 stars out of 5

Today about 5.45 arrived. Urgent medical care. My eye was getting worse with being red and weepy. Throbbing too. The receptionist said that they had already done their quoter for the day. Go to another emergency facility. Very disappointed. First time but I will see my GP tomorrow for emergency care. Hopefully.

  2. Review titled Good service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I had to visit the Urgent Care Centre for a shoulder injury. It was very busy but all the staff were caring and considerate and eventually it was confirmed that I had no bony injury which was a relief. I was there for about three hours which I thought was reasonable under the circumstances.

  3. Review titled Really helpful

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Emily - Posted on 25 March 2024

Visited minor injuries with a suspected broken hand. Was treated with kindness and patience in a clearly very busy centre. The service was efficient with only a 2 hour wait from initial registration, triage, x ray and consultation. Very grateful to all the staff from registration to consultation. Thank you!

  4. Review titled Excellent care and treatment

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Roger Hatch - Posted on 20 April 2024

I attended the hospital during March and April this year when I cut my index finger which required 8 stitches; the care and treatment I received was first class and the nurses and assistants were most helpful and dressed the cut several times with great care and skill. The whole procedure was impressive for which I am most grateful. Many thanks. Roger Hatch

We arrived on Sunday morning and was seen and treated within the hour. The nurse who treated my daughter was kind and compassionate and triage was quick too. Highly recommend.

  7. Review titled Urgent treatment centre triage nurse

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 24 January 2024

My son has just been in minor injuries due to a head injury, the nurse who dealt with him was lovely and very helpful. However the nurse that triaged him I found quite rude and patronising, this was around 11pm on 24/01/24. She asked if he passed out and due to accident happening at nursery I said I wasn't sure but was told he went very white and quiet, she then proceeded to tell me "if someone is standing up and fallen to the ground, they've passed out, if they're sitting up and fall down, they've passed out, along with other comments and definitions explaining how I would know someone has passed out. These comments were obviously very patronising and she was aware I wasn't with my son at the time of the accident so it is fair to say it did annoy me. I work as a receptionist for the NHS and I would never speak to someone in this manor. My son also bled a lot and I said I was aware head injuries bleed a lot but due to the nursery workers all advising he gets medical attention that's what im doing, she looked at his head and went "its just a scratch", which considering the amount of blood his school clothes were soaked with and the hole he ended up having to get glued was just another unnecessary comment that felt so patronising. Again all the other staff were lovely and very helpful, this woman however didn't give a good impression.

  8. Review titled No confidentiality

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 12 December 2023

No privacy at all when talking to the receptionist. Have to speak loudly due to plastic partition. Everyone can hear all your information. We sat at the back of the waiting room and could hear everything! Bearing in mind we were there for an injury (most there as they can't see GP!), triage nurse was abrupt and rude to my daughter. Nurse in treatment area ok but seemed in a rush. Disappointed.

  9. Review titled Weekend medical problem

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Chris Oxford - Posted on 03 December 2023

I was treated rapidly and with compassion, courtesy and professionalism by all the staff I came into contact with. They were able to supply prescriptions for the medication that was later to solve my problem. It is with great regret that many Doctor's Surgeries cannot provide the same faultless service. Thank you all.

  10. Review titled Excellent experience

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Mike bruno - Posted on 11 November 2023

I attended the urgent care centre after injuring my calf playing squash and have to say it was an all round excellent experience. After checking in I was triaged by a very friendly chap, and about an hour later despite the waiting room being busy and a steady stream of people coming in, I was seen by another really friendly person who treated me and supplied me with crutches and excellent advice. I was prepared to have been there for hours but I was in and out in an hour and a half.
