Recently had to visit the centre on 2 occasions. Staff are interested in patients, efficient and understanding, aiming to streamline the experience as quickly as possible but offering top care. An extra call out to X-ray 2, your service is excellent. Building is immaculate.

My GP referred me to the x-ray department at Whitegate Health Centre. A few weeks later I was offered a cancellation appointment which I accepted. On arriving, I was seen quickly. I was having an ultrasound scan and the staff were friendly and discreet. I was given feedback immediately afterwards which was very reassuring. Reception staff were also very friendly too. A first class service. Thank you.

Every time I ring up the chemist no matter what time of day or night the phone is never answered why will nobody pick up the phone

I went for a sexual health check up at the walk in clinic and the staff were so lovely throughout. They put me at ease instantly and I really felt listened to and they covered everything that I wanted and more. I felt like the staff really cared and wanted to make the experience the best it could be, even in a potentially embarrassing environment. So thanks again to the team.

I went to this Practice for a Scan of a Lump on my Elbow. When I checked in, initially the Receptionist could not find my Name on her list of appointments for that day. She asked me for my DOB and was able to find me through that information. It turned out, that they had registered the Appointment using my Middle Name rather than my First Name. I was surprised at this as the appointment was made using my First Name - I do not use my Middle Name - and when I asked the Receptionist to Amend the details that the practice held on me, she failed to do so. Other than that, the appointment and Scan were carried out efficiently and respecfully.

I was visiting St Anne’s and became very unwell quickly with a severe urine infection, a person who came to my aid told me to attend Whitegate. I was so impressed with the treatment and compassionate I received, I was far away from home, scared and in pain but I was seen to quickly and prescribed antibiotics I am so thankful for the care I received

I took my father-in-law to the Centre following a less than average call with his surgery... From the receptionist to the medic he had a quality of service that was second to none. Friendly and supportive...he is 92.... His issue was resolved without fuss...a test undertaken...and a dressing applied....with follow-up agreed... Thank you....I will have no reservation to use your service again..

I was visiting Blackpool looking after my mother. Out of curiosity I took a Blood Pressure test. It was quite high. My GP was 250 miles, away, so I went to this NHS Walk-in centre. I had a short wait, saw a GP and was prescribed BP medication. He advised me that to come back if after 10 days if my BP was still high. 10 days my later BP was still high so I returned. This time I was seen by a nurse. She told me to a local GP and register as a visitor. It was Friday afternoon, which left me with a weekend of worry of having a heart attack or stroke.

Having searched online for the opening times of Whitegate Drive Health Centre I eventually found out that it is open from 08:00 until 20:00 everyday. So I turned up at 07:30 to wait and be one of the first in the queue. However I was going for an X-Ray, there was a very pleasant lady behind the desk, she informed me that the X-Ray department does not open until 09:00. Why is this information not on the web?
