I contacted the practise this morning. Got an appointment with a doctor I had never seen before. She was very friendly and professional. I then got a cancellation for a blood test this afternoon. All staff were friendly and helpful. Thank you all for caring whilst working under such difficult circumstances.

I’ve recently come out of hospital regarding a hip operation and also a torn ligament in my knee My leg has all swollen up so I got told to contact my GP For an appt but they practise has changed the way they do appts now you have to fill some kind of form Online all I wanted was an appt with the doctor as advised by my physio I don’t want to answer countless Meaningless questions so I ended up putting the phone down

Went for usual MOT they detected raised Blood Pressure booked me for ECG detected heart damage. Medication started, consultant appointment requested, change of meds all within days and weeks I was dealt with in a professional and kindly manner. The staff are fantastic, from GPs to Nursing, to Clinicians not forgetting the front line ladies and gent who protect the fort. Helpful, beyond measure. Kept fully aware of progress and appointments. This practice goes over and beyond. Well done to you all.

Too many times have I heard feedback of other GP surgeries about poor service. I have never had anything but exemplary care from the Sides for both myself and my two children Thank you

The response of the practice to my very early morning online requests regarding the early signs and eventual shingles infection were extremely quick and very relevant and much appreciated.. I was and still am very grateful to the all the staff involved for their professionalism and care given to me. thank you again joan.

I was contacted by the sides medical practice twice to say I needed to make an appointment regarding blood test results and a letter they had received. Telephone appointments were made on the same day at 9am and 2pm. I asked if I could have them together to save both my time and the doctors time. I was told no because it was regarding 2 separate things. I waited for the first phone call but it didn’t arrive. I called to the doctors in person to ask why I had not received y phone call. I was told they had been put together but they had failed to tell me. At 2pm I received my phone called. The doctor asked “ what can I do for you?”! I replied “ you phoned me to make the appointments “! Surely the doctor should know who has requested the phone call and what it is regarding. The receptionist are very quick to interrogate you about why you want the appointment. The doctor had to waste time reading through my notes to find out what the appointment was for. Better organisation and communication is needed.

2 days on the bounce Iv rang at 8am for a same day appointment. None left. So today I have requested an emergency appointment due to a massive decline in my mental health. This was due to another health care professional encouraging me to do so. Iv opened up & im asking for help (which has taken some guts) to literally receive a text message saying ‘we will discuss further tomorrow at an appt’. Tomorrow may be too late for some people with mental health issues..

As a carer for an elderly parent with Dementia and having a number of complex health conditions I have found that a number of the GP’s and health care staff at the practice really helpful. Time has been spent explaining the diagnosis , treatment information clearly and check I have understood. I also appreciate the quick tips for the correct way you should take your meds. Things can get overwhelming so I appreciate the clear, understandable and patient approach. Thank you

All staff are amazing, kind helpful and respectful. Received a telephone consultation, was then seen to check on my symptoms, was quickly assessed, given treatment, made me feel cared for, confident in care and amazed that even at difficult times for the nhs the best service and care is offered.

We called the doctors where a phone call consultation was booked again not being able to be seen face to face. We waited for the doctors call that morning which never came so that day we turned up to the surgery and refused to leave until we had our consultation which then the doctor phoned after 15 mins of being there. We were prescribed antibiotics in the short term and told our results would follow us over the phone in the next 24 hours which has still not arrived and now we’re at Xmas Eve which is day 6 after the consultation and can not get any response. The symptoms have not completely gone. Patients come 1st in everything we do is one of the NHS values yet we are not seeing this.
