I rung up 1 week ago for the first time they told me that I had to register on nhs app for appointment and they said it would be 72 hours for verification still haven't been verified and they was still refusing a appointment my health got so bad I was rushed into hospital the receptionist was very rude and refusing to help they don't care about there patients

Dear May I am sorry you have not had a positive experience when contacting the surgery. Whilst we are trying to encourage patients to use the NHS App this should not have prevented you from making an appointment. I wanted to make an appointment for the doctors. As I work I needed to book on my day off. I was told that the appointments were closed for certain days and I couldn't book for the following week. As appointments are so difficult to get, why can't I book ahead? The receptionist made me feel uncomfortable and a little stupid. I felt like I was wasting her time.

I find hard to believe that one person at your practice puts you on medication that carries very bad side effects when starting out on you’re treatment route, to then be told by another that there is a country wide shortage of the product so just do without it. Looked online and there are alternatives, but the Dr’s just do not seem to be bothered. Reception staff lovely, just seem to work for charlatans.

I apologise to all at hopwood house I recently missed 2 appointments No excuses as in my book Missing appointments for anything is so wrong but to miss medical appointments is totally unacceptable I am the first to shout about others doing this and yet here I am doing this myself My sincere apologies James Taylor

Quick follow-up after visit, after spotting cholesterol was slightly higher than last year. When explained the reason for this, next year's test will be before Easter, to prevent a similar situation.

Seems the doctors don't listen to your issue, and have pre diagnosed you. I had to wait 4 weeks for an appointment and needed a fit note. The doctor has refused to back date to back date this, causing problems for me financially.

Hopwood house medical practice in my view are extremely caring . The staff go above and beyond and will accommodate you where possible I would recommend hopwood house to anyone my sincere thanks to every member of staff at the practice James Taylor
