Outstanding care shown to today whilst having vaccinations. The GP and vaccination team have been empathic and supportive. I would highly recommended the surgery to others for the support and care demonstrated whilst delivering health care. The staff delivered person centred care.

I saw the GP on 30th April, I found her to be very friendly, compassionate and she did a wonderful job I feel very lucky to have such a kind GP and the rest of the team are so very helpful too. Thank you

The Ryan Medical Centre is a nice place to go for medical attention. They attended to us well even though we came some minutes late to the appointment time. The nurse was smiling all through and gave us every assistance we needed. I am glad I choose Ryan Medical Centre as my GP.

Saw a new male doctor who I never seen before this was my first appointment with him and saw him a couple of times he was very kind and took time to talk to me and explain things when I wasn't very well. He was easy to talk to and very supportive. Would highly recommended him to anyone.

Having experienced 3 bereavements in 12 months I've had a few appointments/tests in the last few months due to physical symptoms of grief and today although I was worried about the results, the doctor was fantastic. First time having an appointment with him, but what a relaxing and calming nature he has. Even though the results were good news, there were a few options to consider and the doctor was thorough in explaining them all. I left the appointment feeling calm, relaxed and more able to make the best decision for me. Many thanks.

Had an appointment with the physiotherapist today and he was absolutely fantastic, so helpful, diagnosed my back problem, gave me advice and follow up exercises to ease the pain. Very knowledgeable and very professional and felt very comfortable and in good hands. Definitely recommend seeing Mr Marem.

I booked a covid vaccination at this practice for my 98 year old mum and I had previously rung to enquire if she would be able to have a flu vaccination at the same time and was told by a receptionist that she would . When I asked the nurse at the appointment if she could give my mum the flu vaccine too she replied that she couldn’t as she had to use the vaccines for patients at her practice only and was inflexible in this. Her reaction was rude and no apology was given for us having been given wrong information which has cost us time as I now have to find somewhere else to take my mum that fits in with work and where we can park easily etc. I was frankly left disappointed in the service we received and how little regard was shown to my elderly mother’s well-being.

Dear user, This service is run by Bridgedale PCN and not The Ryan Medical Centre, the service is based at The Ryan Medical Centre because it is the most accessible. Unfortunately not all surgeries provided the service with flu vaccines to vaccinate their own patients however, all practice's have been holding their own flu clinics at each surgery. We are sorry that you have been given incorrect information by your practice, regretfully if we have vaccinated your Mother it would have resulted in another patient missing out on their vaccine that was already pre-planned. The Doctors are very kind and the health care assistant I saw very efficient and showed empathy. Also it was very easy to get an appointment and the follow up telephone appointment for the blood test results was spot on time and I did not feel rushed. Given ample time to have everything discussed and to ask questions

Satisfied with treatment. GP you wish to see is not always in system to book again with. No continuity also unfortunately fall down on blood test service side. Need to have earlier ready availability than month ahead. Very bad waiting time when you phone and are kept waiting and waiting for Someone to answer 20th in queue for example

Unfortunately the pressures within the NHS have an effect on all Primary care clinics, this has therefore resulted in our blood clinics being busier than usual. We are hopeful that over time the clinic waiting times will reduce back to normal. In regards to the telephone lines we are in the process of updating our telephone system to include a call back system in which the patient can select to be called back when they reach position 1 in the queue, this is designed to suit patient needs so that they are not waiting on the phone longer than they need to.
