My mum said she is so glad she doesn’t have a third eye! First procedure in January went very well. Quick, virtually painless and good comms. Staff caring and helpful. Second procedure very different. She waited nearly fours for the procedure, which is a very long time for someone of her age. Procedure was painful as anaesthetic drops not given until ready to go in the theatre. Don’t know if this made a difference but she could feel much more this time and was quite upset.

Staff were nice, helpful, informative, real world professional, facility was clean and tidy. I wasnt provided with booklet about the surgery, nor the sterile swabs to clean my eye and the after care nurse seemed a little rushed...

Had 1st cataract operation recently. Excellent facilities, organisation and staff. Operation was quick, efficient and painless and aftercare explained fully. Within a day vision was noticeably better and continued to improve daily and within a few days sight was excellent. Thank you to the team at SpaMedica, St Catherine's for an excellent and very professional service.

I have nothing but praise for the attention I received. At every level, the admin and nursing staff were efficient, polite and very reassuring. The actual surgical procedure was remarkably quick, painfree and expertly handled. The results have been excellent too.

Staff are friendly and professional. Waiting time was minimal. Cataract surgery was professional and staff were lovely.

Two weeks since my second cataract op, all the staff, from reception up to surgeon , very courteous and efficient. Vision results spectacular and surgery itself totally stress free. Many thanks to all concerned. Highly recommend, don't hesitate, just do it!

Had my first cataract removed 5 weeks prior to this surgery on my second caratact. The staff are polite, professional and ever so helpful, fully explaining what is happening at every stage of the procedure. I have no complaints whatsoever and can only praise the ease I have felt in regaining my vision.

This was my 2nd Cataract Op within a couple of Months. First time no problem at all. This time not so good. Felt like i wasn't given enough Anaesthetic as the procedure was quite painful and the watery liquid they put in your eye was ice cold, unlike the first time. Also after giving my Name and date of Birth so many times my Medication had somebody elses name on

I wss having cataract surgery and from my first assessment to my surgery every step was explained to me. The staff were friendly and caring. Wonderful service

I was given an appointment for an assessment and went with my report to the receptionist and I had an appointment for the procedure the next day. I was taken aback although very pleased that I could have my first cataract taken away. Thank you
