Saturday morning smear clinic with practise nurse. Reception staff friendly snd helpful. Nurse sensitive, helpful, kind and informative. Thank you.

Today I started ringing the surgery at 7.55 am. I was cut off not once but 25 times. I used both my landline and mobile phones. When I rang later in the day to tell them there was a fault I was informed “ Well it was ringing on our side” I ended up spending £20 in taxi fares as I use a wheelchair and going to the Walk in. If this wasn’t geographically the easiest surgery to get to I would find myself another GP. It’s such a shame because some of the individual staff are lovely but the practice has really changed for the worst since being taken over by the unmentionable Dr.

Dear patient Thank you for taking the time to leave us some feedback. Feedback, whether positive or negative, is always good as it enables us to reflect and consider any changes we need to make to our service. The phone lines don't begin ringing here until 8am and so you would not be able to get through before that time. I'm aware that there have been issues with the phone lines and we've just signed a contract with a new provider. The phone change should be taking place within the next couple of weeks and so this should rectify any issues. Apologies for any inconvenience that has been caused. Thanks Caroline - Practice Manager

I attended the doctors today after calling this morning and getting an appointment this afternoon. Doctor was attentive listening to my concerns and helpful in my referral. Things seemed to have improved in this practice!

The doctor I have seen the last two times is simply wonderful. Medical practitioner who did a smear test for me was incredibly professional and kind. This was the first time I felt comfortable with no pain afterwards. I've been very satisfied with the practice lately.

I had my cervical smear which I was worried about however the nurse eased it for me and was quick and gentle.

Have been told consistently over the last few weeks by walk in centres, A&E and 111 that I urgently need to see my GP. Have been unable to eat or keep any fluids down for 8 days and despite spending an hour every single morning on the phone these are still unable to give me an appointment. Knowing my medical history, it’s disgusting that they leave patients with nowhere to turn like this. If you are thinking of registering here, absolutely do not do it to yourself!

Hi Thank you for leaving us feedback. Any feedback we receive, whether positive or negative, is always useful as it helps us to look at how we can provide a more efficient service. I have spoken with the team and nobody can recall speaking with you over the last few weeks and I haven't been made aware of your call which would normally be the case should we have no appointments left for the day and there is an urgent call from a patient. We have a couple of emergency appointments held each day for reasons such as this and I am the only one who can authorise their use. Without leaving a name, it is difficult for me to look into this so I would be grateful if you could please call the practice and ask to speak with the Practice Manager. Thank you. I was given an appointment quite quickly and seen by a very pleasant friendly and helpful Dr who prescribed me medication. I find this surgery has had a huge turn round and now doing extremely well.
