Receptionists are friendly and helpful, practice nurse is friendly, helpful, welcoming and has time and wants to listen to any problems I have.

I was at the surgery for an annual diabetic checkup but extra time was needed to explore other issues. I was in the office for 11/2 hours whilst tests were undertaken and I was not made to feel rushed at all.

Went to have a blood test, they ran slightly behind but otherwise good and then it was done quickly once I was called through. Nice staff and very professional.

A very pleasant visit for my first appointment at this practice. Reception staff were so prompt and helpful. I was called through quickly after checking in and was seen by the Surgery Nurse. I have Mobility issues and I was helped with keeping my movement down to a minimum. All the procedures were explained clearly and fully. My questions were answered with concise replies, which helped me to understand what was being done and why. Reception staff were extremely helpful and pleasant when I had to book a Doctors appointment.

I’ve been a patient of this practice for many years now and just recently they seem to have really upped their game. They have many new members of staff offering lots of different services. There is now a paramedic, another nurse and a physiotherapist. I can’t fault the staff they work very hard with limited resources, but they’re always friendly, chatty, smiley and willing to go the extra mile to help with any difficult queries that my come their way on a day-to-day basis. I know the media portrays the NHS in a bad light, but they always seem to be cheerful and try their upmost to be of assistance. The new phone lines are brilliant. It means calls are answered very quickly. There is even an option of a callback so no hanging around. And there is also a way now to book your own appointments through the self book link which is fantastic. Keep up the good work.

Too many times, my nurse appointments have been cancelled on the day. As with most people, i work & have to schedule time off. The irony being, my husband was offered a nurse appointment the same day mine was cancelled. I appreciate staff can be off ill but, the surgery should have a plan b in place. I then received an email the following day asking for my experience of my appointment that never took place.

Dear patient, Thank you for taking the time to review the practice. I am sorry we have had sickness in our clinical team of late. We are aware of the problem and are doing our best to remedy unforeseen sickness within our team. We do now have a lovely locum nurse who kindly helps out and covers the urgent appointments. Unfortunately not everyone can be seen when we have sickness but I do hope you have booked in now our nurse is back and have had the care you need. If you haven’t please call the surgery to arrange an appointment or we can send you a self book link where you can browse and book appointment at your leisure. In regards to asking about your appointment experience we have had a brand new system and this was a teething issue I can only apologise for. I do appreciate you taking the time to feedback and apologise again for any inconvenience caused. If you would like to speak to me about this in more depth I am more than happy to discuss further.
