    As a family we cannot thank the team at New Invention HC enough. A family member is very poorly and I have had to contact the surgery numerous times, not once did I have anyone at the end of the phone not ready to listen, help, give advice, and show committment and empathy to our situation. The GPs go the extra mile to ensure the heath needs are assessed and met. At such a difficult time in our lives we are very grateful to be under the care of this practice.

    I have had pain in my left breast for almost a week - the doctor won’t see me or refer me for a scan because ‘there is no lump present’. The pain apparently doesn’t matter! Typical treatment of a woman’s pain! Unbelievable! I’ve been told to either call 111 or go to an urgent care centre, and waste their time instead of seeing my own GP!

    I’ve been with this practice since I was born, Always so friendly and the girls always put you at ease, especially when it’s a procedure your worried about, Appointments are hard to get but it’s the same everywhere as on a whole we all know services are stretched so it’s a struggle but I’m also happy to get the link for an online consultation.

    Went for my copd check and she was very professional and still had a laugh, explained everything and gave some very useful advice for me Would not go anywhere else but to this practice, simple because they do actually care.

    Fill in on line form,and a doctor has always called me back on the same day,the 2 docs I always prefer to see i carnt fault them,the receptionist n nurses are always helpful and very friendly.

    I am extremely upset with the patient care and service that I have received this morning with the receptionist I spoke with - I will be obtaining her name and updating my review once I have it. I had bloods done in last week and, after chasing the results, was booked in for a call to discuss them next week. I have an extreme amount of anxiety in relation to the reason why I needed my bloods checking and I explained to the receptionist that I was very stressed and requested a copy of my results whilst I waited for my appointment. She simply stated that she can’t discuss the results with me - I stated I appreciated this however i was not asking to discuss I was asking for a copy of my data. The receptionist had a terrible attitude and rude tone. I am a solicitor and work with professionals on a daily basis and I know how to talk to people and have an expectation on how to be spoken back to. I asked her to be mindful of her tone and to not speak over me, to which she hung up. The phone lines then closed. I have had to leave work today because of my anxiety and have a history of needing anti-anxiety medication, which I thankfully have not needed since 2021. The receptionist has absolutely no idea on how to deal with patient’s and is not fit for her position in the NHS without at least some training. I will be escalating the matter.

    Can't fault anyone who works at new invention health centre iv been with these Dr's 41 years and I have never had a problem with them

    We have needed more support recently due to my husband health diagnosis. This has been an extremely difficult time and having the support of the team from New Invention Health Centre has made such a difference to our lives. The reception team are there, they listen and help us to find the best route to meet our care needs. Not sure things would remain so stable without the dedicated care of the Dr's and nurses. As my husbands health needs are mainly being met in the community, this responsibility falls on GP services at every stage. We are so pleased and fortunate to be under your care, thank you all so much.

    Why can't we have a good old fashioned system where we get to see a doctor? I am fed up of no one answering the phone online texts etc before I can even get to see a GP. I just want an appointment thats all. I feel so sorry for people who are not used to the jnternet as I am getting older I feel scared that we can't access these services. It feels like we as patients are not cared about.

    Excellent service , since the the practice was taken over it is now much easier to get through on the phone and also the system of having a link to give your information to the doctor for him to get back to you is not as good obviously as seeing the doctor face to face but is a very close second if you need a response to your problem quickly. This morning I phoned and got through to the receptionist twice in 5 minutes , in the past this would have been unheard of. Well done and thank you for dealing with my issue promptly and efficiently.
