    Sadly the practice has suspended what was a great booking system for getting an appointment whereby you filled a form in online and they got back to you, in my experience the same day. Now they are going back to having to phone in first thing in the morning and by the time you get through all the appointments are gone. When I asked the receptionist why they had changed from the very good online system to the outdated phone system she said the form filling system may have suited you but didn’t suit everyone. I don’t understand why the 2 systems can’t run side by side so perhaps anyone who doesn’t like the online procedures could pick up the phone and hold for an hour and the rest of us could spend 1 minute filling in the online form 🤷🏻‍♀️

    Daughter has toncillitis 2 to 3 times a year all we need is a prescription for antibiotics. After waiting 55 mins i was abruptly told to go to russels haul as there is a 2 week waiting list . They couldve put a voice mail message on the answer phone instead of wasting an hour of my time . Why do pay tax ?

    filled out an online form on the 23rd Jan to request to have a steroid injection in my left knee (already had 4 done before) they sent me an email to say I had a message, sent me to their website and the message said I have a face to face appointment on 5th Feb at 11:45. Had no reminder texts (which they are normally good at sending) so checked the email again today and could no longer read the message I called the reception to check my appointment and after waiting a long time on hold when there were only 3 before me and they said I don't have an appointment booked for Monday and I need to fill in another form at 8:00 Monday! Do you think this is acceptable?

    I have been repeatedly let down by this surgery and am now looking to move to a new one. One of the more frustrating moments was when a hospital consultant wrote to the gp asking them to prescribe a specific medication- when I rang to chase this up, 2 weeks later the gp had not even bothered to read the letter. Then they refused my medication three times - I am still waiting for important medication three weeks later. Tried ringing for an emergency appointment bang on 8am today, on hold for 40 minutes, no appointments left. You can’t make an enquiry outside surgery hours. You can’t book any kind of routine appointment at all it would seem.

    The service at Surgery today was excellent . I received my Injection in a timely, professional,friendly manner. Many thanks to all involved in the smooth running of the clinic.

    My family and I find that the communication with staff is below standard. Upon getting through a very long telephone recording and waiting in a queue which seems to take forever, it is then pot luck as to which staff member you are speaking to. We realise that at times staff members are exceptionally busy, as is everyone else, and sometimes callers may not be pleasant. However, it is up to the staff to remain positive and professional at all times; we are not expecting staff to carry on a call which is abusive, and no one should behave like this, but for the genuinely frustrated caller, a calm, professional attitude can make all the difference. For someone who is having difficulty in expressing the reason they are contacting the surgery by telephone, then staff who sound hurried and not caring can put them off. We are all intelligent enough to realise that there are other people waiting in the telephone queue, but please understand that for some, a little bit of professional patience is all people need. You may be the only person that caller has any conversation with all week, and also, you may not know what other factors the caller is experiencing, so some kind, helpful voice at the end of the phone would be appreciated. Some people do not have access to the internet and so can only use the telephone service. Please let this be a positive service and not put people off reaching out for help.

    During Covid, Three villages started using a contact form. This worked great. Then they restricted the form to surgery hours only - still fine. Now though, if you try and complete the form after 8.15 you get an error message saying triage is full. If you ring, the receptionists are unable to help and simply say try the form earlier in the morning. I am a mum to two children and works full time - I barely have time to get to work and sort the kids at 8am never mind fill in a form repeatedly ( to then be given an appointment I can't make at a surgery I'm not registered at) What must someone do to speak to seek help nowadays?

    I contacted the practice regarding the change in appearance of a mole. I obtained an appointment quickly and was referred to a consultant. This appointment also came quickly and the mole was deemed non malignant. Thankyou for the prompt efficient response.

    I phoned up today to book an appointment to see a doctor about an ongoing issue. I was told, "we don't do that here," and to go to A & E. I have been coming to this practice for years and never had any issues until today.

    I just wanted to take a moment to thank admin and clinical staff for what I feel is a gold standard service. Myself and 2 children are registered at the practice and I know that if I need to contact the surgery, my enquiry will be dealt with promptly. We all know there are pressures on accessing services but I am always satisfied with the response I have been given and I feel like that me or my children are triaged appropriately. Particular shout out to the admin team because they are the small cogs in the system that keep everything ticking over. Thank you to all at Three Villages!
