    Excellent service fast efficient friendly from office staff to doctors . When I phoned was given a couple of time slots for that day when I arrived the reception staff were extremely helpful and professional after ten minute wait was called in to see Doctor what I thought was a minor problem I was examined in depth which resulted in not a minor problem and was told should have came in a lot earlier being a person who does not want to take up a hospital bed for obvious reasons (lack of beds staff etc ) I was happy to take doctors alternative option and starting to feel a bit better well a lot better thank you everyone

    Dear Patient Many thanks for the positive comments following your recent experience at Priory Gate. If we receive a call before 4pm our Doctors will conduct a telephone appointment for all acute (emergency) requests on the day and will invite a patient in to be seen if it is agreed this is necessary. It sounds like it was necessary based on your comments and I'm glad to read that you are on the road to recovery.     Very short wait on phone explained to receptionist what problems I had just after coming out of hospital and other things with a very polite and professional manner was advised and directed to all the things I required brilliant help. When I phoned my Doctor was out but gave me the option of telephone call or go in to the surgery in the afternoon . You will not get this professionalism in many if any surgeries reception,secretaries,nurse,Doctor .I salute you take a bow you make me proud and grateful you are my Doctor

    Dear Lee Many thanks for your positive comments regarding your recent experience at Priory Gate. I can see you used our new on-line management tool called Anima.     This is the worst practice I have ever been to. I'm pregnant and I was prescribed medication because I was extremely sick and vomiting up constantly. My medication was about to run out when I tried to order a new prescription in patient access but this practice doesn’t t work with this app. Then few days I tried to contact them through the "prescription" menu but I get an automated reply that they are too busy to try again later. I called to the reception to ask how the hell I was supposed to get my meds. They told me I have to go there in person just to fill out some stupid form that no one knows when it will be seen and wait for a response from them. I had to go there and wait on the queue among all the sick people all around me. I filled out a form and an unfriendly and rude woman at the reception told me that they would contact me in 48 hours and that I should have gone earlier since my medication ran out. Nowhere on their stupid website does it say that you have to go there and fill out a form, but there is a number to call which number doesn’t work. In 2022, forcing people to personally go to a practice to fill out some stupid sheet is madness and very very stupid. You also have to pay for parking just to fill out the stupid form! Now 4 days later I still haven't received any response or my prescription. I also tried to leave a review on their Google page but it is not possible… They are absolutely primitive people not doctors!

    Dear Natalie I am sorry to read that you have had some difficulty with Priory Gate Practice. Medication can be ordered in one of three ways - by contacting the POD service on telephone 02476 246072, by ordering through your NHS App or other on-line means or by completing a request from at the practice. We are happy to help updating your on-line method of ordering if this has caused you some difficulty. The POD service is usually extremely busy on Monday mornings so it might be worth avoiding these times if possible. We recommend patients should order their medication at least 48 hours before it is due to run out. We have been unable to identify you from your first name however please contact me on either 02475 261333 or sent me an email to priory.gate@nhs.net to enable me to investigate your concerns.
