    Called today 25th August 2023 8.20am was 14 in the queue, 20 minutes later I was number 2 in the queue then absolutely nothing held on for another 10 minutes and no one answered so I hung up !! Rang straight back and back in the queue in total took 50 minutes for someone to speak to me. Absolutely ridiculous. Feel the surgery needs to look into this situation

    I visited the surgery on the 7/6/23. I called at 8am. I had recently been discharged from hospital. Within 30 minutes I was seeing a Dr face to face. What an amazing doctor!! Full of compassion and was able to diagnose and treat my condition with ease. I didn’t feel rushed at all. She is a credit to the profession. This surgery is exceptional. Despite all the pressures on the NHS the staff and doctors are really caring and go out of their way to help. I have never had a problem getting an appointment for me or my children. receptionists, admin and nursing team are also really helpful and caring. Please keep up the great work. Karis medical centre is a credit to the area and the NHS. Thank you once again.

    As a Chinese student my English speaking is not perfect, but the Doctors always kindly and patient for my questions, help me with all issues and try their best to help me. Great recommended!

    After waiting 3 weeks for a telephone appointment, the dr seemed to be understanding and listened came up with an action plan of follow up blood tests. 4 weeks later I’m still waiting for information about the tests. Called up and after waiting on hold for 2 hours the system seemed to give up. As a professional I’m unable to have my mobile idling on hold for over two hours. To chase up appointments. This is unacceptable and should be better.

    It is my first time to see a gp in the United Kingdom. I must say it is better than I expected. I called to book an appointment yesterday and was able to see the doctor today. The reception staff are friendly. The doctor checked my condition carefully and she was very patient and professional. The doctor even sent me additional information of my condition through sms after. Happy with my first gp experience.

    Firstly, you call up and are told to book an appointment for prescriptions and then when the day of the appointment comes around they don't even call you. I'm asthmatic and need my inhalers. Secondly when you call they are rude and hang up after waiting 30 minutes to get through. Overall terrible.

    After recently moving To Karis Medical Centre and seeing two different GP's I felt I should write a review. When I first entered the centre I noticed it is clean, the toilets were spotless and they have relaxing background music which is very nice. The receptionists on every occasion I have dealt with them have been polite and helpful. They helped sort out my monthly prescription so there was no missed medication when I joined. Both Doctors I have seen have been extremely professional, they were knowledgeable and organised various tests and alternatives to help with waiting times for my health issues. Compared to my previous doctor's surgery it's like night and day. Considering the massive strain that the NHS and it's doctors and nurses are under I think this surgery is doing a remarkable job. Well done to all the staff at Karis. Keep up the good work.

    absolutely appalling service, i have a rare condition which makes my life very difficult to live and do everyday tasks and now i have to jump through hoops just to get medication or a repeat prescription that was automatically delivered to my house. but now they make it very difficult for me an others. this surgery should get shutdown its not what it used to be 6 years ago way better service

    it's Monday 5th December and I called Karis Medical centre for a repeat prescription choosing option 1. The call was answered in 16 minutes only to advise I had to see the doctor as my last prescription was a year ago. It's now 1 hour and 15minutes and I'm still on hold to speak to appointments. This is completely unacceptable as I write this review I'm still holding and listening to their answering message " your call is very important to us please wait for the next agent" This is a medical Centre who keeps their patients waiting for over an hour? Something tells me they are not equipped to be a medical Centre.

    I was fitted in quickly when I had an infection which needed speedy care. Onward appointment with the nurse was arranged and I'm able to get urgent follow up when required. The care here is always excellent and I would highly recommend Karis.
