Dr I saw at 9 am was exceptionally kind- a great listener and really interested and concerned. I would definitely choose to see him if I needed to see a doctor.

When admitted I was with the Doc for minutes, but had time to ask about the letter from late '22 regarding changes to booking appointments etc to confirm they where still relevant, as I could not connect with the booking system. Confirmed ok except via NHS, see Reception on way out to obtain a new password, which I did, having joined a queue of 4. All good eventually.

I had an appointment today with a doctor I have never met but have previously spoken to on the phone. On the phone he was caring, compassionate and really helped me. In person these characteristics were in plain evidence. I have never had a bad experience with the doctor or the nhs - that we are asked to leave feedback now sort of bothers me. The medical teams I have seen have all been wonderful and it’s clear to me they do the job because they care and want to help. I couldn’t be more grateful.

Dr from Levkhampton surgery phoned me late this evening to give me the results of my test (clear) and was good news for me . he apologised it took so long but there was no need as they are busy. I also had my regular Covid jab today (via the surgery txting me to make appt. very well organised, so Thank you.) I’m 80 next year & have faith in this team. The Drs nurses & receptionists @ Leckhampton surgery are the best Better than all the rest So when I give you a call thank you one & all

I have experienced chronic fatigue since October 2023 and also October 2022 to May 2023. In that time, I have struggled to get diagnosed, seen by doctors and sometimes, even get referred privately. I have also suffered poor mental health and this has compounded my difficulties. My initial blood results missed a crucial B12 blood test and this turned out to be 'borderline' - this meant that the Long Covid diagnosis I was given 6 months prior was not conclusive and may be incorrect. Thoughout the case, I have seen about 8 doctors in this time - every time I have to talk through my case to date. This is both frustrating and time-consuming. In the last appointment, I walked away feeling upset with my doctor's reaction - who had a rather dismissive view towards my efforts to resolve my chronic fatigue. He seemed to cast my 'Gousto' meals as processed food (which they are not) and told me off for subscribing to Zoe and said I should just eat more fruit and veg to increase my gut microbiome - this is despite me telling him I had tested my microbiome through Zoe and it came back as 'very good'. Quite honestly, I have been doing everything to fix my health and feel frustrated that no one seems to be able to support, guide or help me through this. I know there is no easy fix - but I need to continuously explore the challenge for my own mental health.

Good Morning As your review is anonymous we cannot comment directly about your experiences but apologise they were not what you expected. All our GPs are highly trained after many years training and always will refer to the NHS & NICE Guidelines, although we do realise that online you can find varying ideas and alternative suggestions for health conditions. We also have Social prescribers that you can talk to about the minefield of alternative advice that is out there online. Please feel free to request an appointment with one if that will help. Booking system worked OK, although sharp elbows are needed to grab an appointment. On the day, I was seen promptly and had a good quality examination and advice on a number of topics.
