Lovely phone call from reception to say I was registered no wait when I returned call this is unheard of in London from where I have moved in the last week

Very pleased and impressed with whole experience, from booking appointment (at short notice), arrival arrangements, consultation with my Doctor (who was very warm, helpful & professional) to prescribing medication and a follow-up blood test. Thank-you.

I phoned the practice due to some confusion over a repeat prescription. I only waited about a couple of minutes for the call to be answered and the lady was so helpful so reassuring and incredibly helpful. My issue was sorted and had a phone appointment with a doctor sorted within 5 mins.

2-3 weeks before moving abroad for a year of study one of my blood levels was flagged as low. This was very concerning because I won’t have instant GP access abroad and this particular level can be very problematic if too low. St Thomas Medical Group responded brilliantly. I was immediately contacted by the practice with a detailed explanation of the next steps we would take to find a solution before I moved abroad. I was booked in for follow up tests; quickly prescribed medication; and within a week had had another blood test and several more phone calls from the doctor identifying the potential cause and my results. The doctor maintained fantastic communication throughout and all the reception team have been very kind, understanding, and responsive over email/phone. I have been kept updated and received regular contact on the progress of my results (within 24hrs of each test) in what has been a very constrained timeframe. I now have a clear plan of what to do going forward, including when abroad. At the same time the practice has delivered the best support for eating disorders that I have got from a GP practice. They have provided very thorough support all along, and I feel very prepared in a medical sense for the move abroad. Amazing service. Very grateful to everyone on the team.

Thank you so much to the nurse for being kind and having a fun approach for my daughter's vaccinations. The sticker, certificate, bubbles and Peppa pig were greatly appreciated by her so much so she said afterwards 'I love going to the doctor's!'

The reception staff are always polite and helpful - I know what a difficult job it is dealing with the public but they always try to help in the best way that they can! Well done ladies!

Phoned health centre 8:59am immediate response, knowledgeable, caring professional staff member dealt with my enquiry. Booked me into see a member of the medical team at 12:00 today, thank you, excellent first class service……

I have received impeccable care since moving to Exwick Health Centre and have been blown away by the kindness of staff and the help they have given me over the recent weeks. Nothing is ever too much for the secretaries, who go out of their way to ensure your queries are fully answered. I've never been made to feel like my calls are a hassle to them (which I have certainly had at other practices). I would recommend this practice to all in the Exwick/St Thomas area.

I've visited the Student Health Centre on a few occasions, and I have to say that the nurses and doctors there are extremely professional. They really went above and beyond to make sure that I received the care I needed. One thing that I really appreciated was that they proactively contacted me when they found out that I may have been at risk for a health issue. This really demonstrated that they truly care about their patients' well-being. Additionally, all nurses I met there were always friendly and welcoming, making me feel comfortable even when I wasn't feeling well. Staff who answered my phone calls were also very understanding of my situation and were always willing to provide same-day appointments whenever possible, which was incredibly helpful. Finally, I really appreciated that they always kept me updated on any necessary information through text messages. This made the whole process of getting the care I needed a lot more streamlined and convenient.

I feel very grateful as any time I needed my son to be seeing by a doctor, I was always given an appointment the same day! Staff is kind and very organised ! The last time I called as my son was unwell and we were seeing in few minutes as they had a cancellation at the surgery. Many thanks we really appreciate the job you do.
