I always have concerns regarding my husbannd's health. I duly filled out the Anima form, in no time a lovely Dr rang and spoke to myself and my husband. She visited the following day. She dealt with my 'awkward' husband brilliantly. Sitting close to him and gradually talking him around to having tests. Very well done to her. For myself I feel that at last I wasn't dealing with the situation on my own. I have never been able to fault Hanham Health.

I was waiting for a while to see the GP at midday today and, although I could not see her, I was aware how friendly, kind, helpful and professional the receptionist on duty was to everyone she spoke to. Receptionist’s seem to get bad (mostly undeserved) reviews so I felt she deserved a mention.

Very helpful Gp consultation on the telephone. Phoned before arranged time and asked if it was convenient or to phone back. Very thorough and considerate throughout.

Yet again another awful experience 19 days after completing Anima I phoned 10th in Queue 45 mins later I could have an appointment . If I had not phoned it would have been over 4 weeks! Who are the Clinical Team who decide whether its serious enough to see a Doctor or you are not priority and just have to wait they are not Doctors This really is the most Awful Surgery in South Glos

I am not a patient at this practice but was ringing on behalf of my elderly mum.She does not have access to online booking. I rang at just gone 6pm and had to wait about 15 minutes which is to be expected,and I spoke to a receptionist.I explained the problem with my mum and she told me she would put it through as urgent but could not guarantee a doctor would be able to come back to us as they were literally closing in 10 minutes.Within 5 minutes she came back to me ,had booked my mum an emergency appointment for the next morning and offered advice.This practice seems to get quite bad reviews but I had to right this review because the customer care we were shown by this particular recetionist and the doctor was outstanding. We could not have spoken to anyone more helpful or caring and for that we thank you. I only wish I could have included your name ( 's' receptionist) but it will not allow me to do so, I want you to get the praise and thanks you deserve.

Within the last 2 weeks I’ve contacted the surgery re my frail husband on two separate occasions. I contacted them online and within no time I had a reply followed by a phone call and on the other occasion a phone call followed by a visit. You have to give compliments when they are due it’s very easy to complain. I cannot fault the help we received.

First time using Anima Health for me and didn’t know what to expect but was so pleased with the prompt replies and ease of use ,much easier than being in a queue and still felt quite a personal service ,well done hanham health I feel secure in your hands .

45 Attempts to Get Through eventually Answered 9th in Queue 40 mins to Speak to Reception ! Unhelpful & Unprofessional In you need a Surgery Dont Register Here

Both mum and dad who are early 80s caught a particular nasty bug, which resulted in them both being rushed to hospital with very serious illnesses. In the 5 days before being admitted I used Anima 4 times each time I was called back immediately after submitting the form, I spoke to a very helpful member of staff who arranged a paramedic from Hanham to call on 2 occasions , the paramedic arrived very quickly and was amazing, not only did she recognise immediately how ill mum was, she had an ambulance there within 30 mins. She also reassured me and explained what was happening. I had to contact anima again the next day as dad was showing exactly same symptoms as mum, again it was the same member of staff who called me and as you can probably imagine I was in a bit of a state , we called for the ambulance immediately which again arrived within 30 mins but it was the member of staffs reassurance and clear instructions on what to do that helped me. I was very sceptical about anima in the beginning , but I think it is a brilliant system and it works! I have used it for non urgent matters as well as this and have always been contacted within 48 hours. All I can say is I wished my surgery had this system and would like to end with a massive Thankyou to Hanham Health

Just wanted to thank you, I completed a request on Anima at 10.30am this morning to request some antibiotics for cystitis as I am going on holiday tomorrow and by 4.00 pm they had been delivered. I know you get a lot of negative comments but I cannot fault your service today. Thank you so much.
