    Obviously, the doctors take no notice of these reviews, as the three practices they have are awful. You can't get through, and most certainly can't get an appointment. Woodsend (Corby) is not only taking on new patients but also new patients from other areas! Disgusting. Impossible to see a doctor or a nurse, I haven't had an asthma check up for well over a year, my BP medication is supposed to be checked regularly also.

    Ring at 8 am, after being forced to listen to Dr W drool on, that then brings the time to 08.09 am no appointmens left for that day!!! How are you supposed to take the pressure from A & E and so forth when you can't see your own doctor. It's impossible to get an appointment, I have been trying for weeks now. Yet, they're still taking on more new patients!! Look after the patients you already have. You can't even cope with that. It's clear the agenda is to push towards privatisation.

    Until Friday, I hadn't come across any complaints about this practice. The reception personnel displayed a warm and welcoming attitude. I arrived on time for my scheduled appointment and then had to wait for over an hour before being called by a doctor who was extremely arrogant and impolite. It was quite an unfortunate encounter. Despite my best attempts to be friendly, I made it clear to her that I embody happiness. Unfortunately, she continued to exhibit arrogance. At first, I started explaining why I felt it was important to seek advice from a medical professional. However, due to her patronising attitude, I became hesitant to proceed. I'm afraid I didn't explain my feelings well enough, which might result in a less effective treatment plan. I asked about my illness, but she seemed to have no knowledge about it. I had access to more information than the doctor given that I'm quite proficient at using online resources. It's unfortunate that we no longer feel comfortable with the people we depend on to protect us. It would be beneficial for Woodsend to implement an enhanced screening process. The doctor in question seemed disinterested in being at the clinic and showed little desire to assist the individuals she is there to help and support.

    Have been trying for days to get an appointment for my 90 year old mother to no avail. Start ringing at 8am & get an answer to say they have a high volume of calls & try later and phone goes dead. Continue to ring, continuously busy and by 8.10 appointments all gone. There is a serious organisational problem here. They are either letting people queue up & make appointments before 8 o’clock, giving appointments to online bookings first (which isn’t good for old people) don’t have enough phone lines, admin staff or doctors. In which case they have signed up too many patients. Really disappointed in this surgery

    Literally cannot get an appointment. Phone system is so unhelpful, basically hangs up on you. Tried phoning at 8am for 2 weeks. Spoke to reception about a nurse appointment, which they have none within 3 weeks as 2 nurses have recently left. All they suggest is go to urgent care, the whole practice has no sense of drive or initiative. My NHS app informs me I need to be contacted after an MRI in January, still no contact after 2 months. In the process of hopefully transferring me and my family to another surgery.

    For the last 2 weeks I have been trying to get an appointment to be put back on medication I have had before but have to see GP first this is how it has been yesterday phoned at 8am through got through at 8.15 no appointments Today 3mins past 8am no appointments. I need to see the GP . Something has to change

    Even though I called thirty minutes ahead of my appointment, I was not informed that being seven minutes late would result in the appointment being cancelled. I only learned about this policy when I called for the second time to indicate that I was two minutes away. By then, I had already missed my appointment and had to plead to see the nurse. The lack of flexibility in their response to the situation was evident.

    Phoned to make appointment on 26th march, went through the system but by 4 minutes past 8 all appointments had been allocated. Phoned in the afternoon asking how many appointments had been available no information forthcoming. Eventually received an email telling me how to use the system. This happened previously last november and again in january. on those days went to emergency health centre and saw a doctor there. So simple question how many appointments are ever available. I see other folk having same problem. If the surgery cant cope why are new patients being accepted. When we have actually seen a doctor the care has been very good.

    We were called to the surgery to discuss some results, this is very worrying. We were left to wait for 45 minutes, with no updates about service being delayed then when we finally got in to see the doctor, she did not apologise and was quite aloof, talking at the patient who is deaf and huffing and puffing when asked to repeat herself. Rude and ignorant towards a deaf person. This service has gone downhill rapidly. Unacceptable service.

    After a text from gp to make an appt for a review of an ongoing condition, I phoned bang on 8 only to be cut off after the long and protracted recorded message. I phoned again to be told no appointments available and unable to make an appointment for another day. No leeway, no flexibility, no warmth from receptionist at all. Worst of all - no appointment. So, how do I get an appointment? Where are these doctors? Why do they want more money when they are negligent in their service - public service I might add. We pay their salaries but are not getting the service. Absolutely appalling! I changed from Lakeside because it is a joke but Woodsend is not fulfilling its responsibilities to the community who pay them
