Having received an unexpected worrying diagnosis I was extremely impressed with the speed at which the doctors at this practice responded with advice and a treatment plan.

I cannot thank and praise the entire staff at my practice enough. I had a dreadful boil in my eye. I was seen within an hour of contacting the GP surgery and put on antibiotics. After two days the antibiotics given had upset my stomach. Again within a couple of hours I was seen again and given different antibiotics and these were just fine and helped to clear up my eye. Every one involved was kind, caring and reassuring and I am so grateful to them all. The entire caring staff deserve so much praise and are all such a credit to the NHS. Thank you to them all.

Just overall a great practice. Has the right amount of human & technical support. Fantastic Drs Nurses & Clinical Staff, Care Navigators, Reception & all support staff too. I hear horror stories for other practices just to get an appointment, let alone the right care and support, which l have never experienced here. Yes sometimes there is a phone queue or I have to wait for an appt, but if urgent they always find a way to help and support you. The key is the level of people who work here balanced with the technical systems they have….. please keep it this way. All staff genuinely care, remain professional and want to help despite obvious high workloads. The 2 main drs I see are brilliant and always have been! Both surgeries are clean and efficiently run! Well done, they all deserve an award! Huge Thank You to everyone and Hughenden and Chequers Surgeries!

I Phoned up on Wednesday afternoon to request an appointment to see someone about a skin condition and was given an appointment for the next day. The appointment was a very positive experience and I felt very well cared for.

Over the last 18 months we have been involved more than usual with the surgery. Our GP has been superb and professional and has spent time with explanations and reassurances. The admin team and secretaries have been unfailingly helpful when contacted. Thank you.

I had a GP appointment. The doctor listened carefully to me, gave me helpful advice, was kind and reassuring. I left feeling understood and knowing what to do.

I just wanted to feedback that on my last two visits to Hughenden Valley Surgery, both doctors were very kind and helpful and informative. This made something that was very difficult for me, much easier. Thank you!

This practice is trying so hard to improve. Instead of waiting for an hour on the phone to make an appointment, you can choose to have a ring back, which I did, and was given an appoinment in less than a week for a non urgent condition. The GP was first class and the receptionist rang me within the hour to notify me of a follow up appointment at Stoke Mandeville a week later. The surgery is short staffed as are so many GP practices currently - short of doctors, nurses and ancillery staff but they are doing their best! I cannot praise hughenden valley practice enough. After recently joining the practice The service I have received has been excellent and a breath of fresh air after the service I had received from my previous gps of 45 years. The gpsI have seen have been kind and considerate and listen. The surgery has supported me via phone, face to face, and text and have given me options and and excellent advise.

Pharmacy taking weeks to prepare prescriptions. No communication, no ability to get hold of anyone. Still taking new patients I see from the website, that must be to replace those leaving for better run practices.
