Review titled Rude
Rated 3 stars out of 5

I was called about an econsult message regarding a dental service that requires a GP referral. I was told flatly that service doesn't exist. Eventually the receptionist spoke to someone who said it does exist. No apology at all for not informing me correctly in the first place. Very rude and dismissive tone of voice. It takes nothing to be friendly and pleasant.

Review titled I was told “it’s not important enough”

I was flat out in bed for 24hrs, called the 111 service, they said I should see a GP within the next 6 hours. GP had no appointments, said to call in the morning. Called in the morning to hear the receptionist say to me: „it’s not important enough, so just wait for a call back”.

When I unfortunately missed an appointment the receptionist at Lime Tree Goring was so understanding and helpful and offered another appointment for an overdue blood test.

Attempted an e-consult which didn’t work out. Went down to the Surgery, saw a helpful receptionist, someone rang me and I was seen at Limetree later in the afternoon

Dear Anthony, Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. I am sorry that you did not get the appointment you wanted, on this occasion. All requests for appointments are triaged by our duty doctor, based on the information you either gave to the receptionist or via econsult. This can include being triaged for a routine appointment. If you feel that this does not meet your needs you may contact us again, on a different date, to be re-triaged. When doing this, please ensure you provide us with as much information as possible to aid the GP in their triage. Although the messages state that this can be 4-5 weeks, in practice this is normally sooner. If you have not yet been given an appointment, please email me on sxicb-wsx.ltsreception@nhs.net so that I can look into this for you. Kind regards Sarah, Deputy Patient Services Manager

Pointless attending appointment that was asked for by the practise but the doctor had no clue as to why we were both there.

Too long winded and repetitive form. Despite the detail provided which linked to previous interventions all on my record I did not feel the triage process led to the most efficient and economic outcome. In other words I was put on a waiting list to see a GP but I need to see a hand specialist. Surely that means i am taking up a Drs appointment unnecessarily. Sorry if this comes across as negative, I know it's not serious compared to other conditions but my Von do option is painful and it makes ake my role as a carer for two adults more difficult.
