    At the Baring Road GP centre, the nurse who attended to my son delivered with care and was informative about her duty. The GP centre was always clean and the atmosphere conducive

    I was constantly bombarded with text messages to contact the surgery to make an appointment following blood results made available on 17th April 2024. I honestly thought I was dying and immediately contacted the surgery, only to be given a telephone appointment on 25th April, the following week. I was surprised at the initial urgency, that I would then need to wait a further week. However, no one bothered to call, which I found extremely frustrating and annoying. I was left in an anxious state about the discussion. This is the second time that I was assured someone would ring and it did not happen. It would have been helpful and courteous to inform me that the GP was unable to make contact. I will not accept future telephone appointments, because they cause anxiety which does not help my blood pressure. Suggestions as a way forward: Stop asking patients to ring the surgery to make appointments which you deem are urgent, or where patients are being monitored. You know your schedule, so it is up to you to make contact with the patient.

    I am very pleased with the staff doing a demanding job. I am especially pleased with the nurses as they are kind,considerate and very good at making one feel at ease. The ease of making appointments has also improved post Covid, my treatment of leg swelling and ulceration is ongoing

All of our team try to ensure that our patients are looked after this includes sometimes squeezing patients in who need to have follow up treatment but no appointments available for them to book. We pride ourselves on putting our patients first and try to offer the best service in sometimes demanding conditions. I have passed on your comments to the nurses who have treated you.     Using the chat doc service has been really effective and efficient. The doctors give quick responses and it is very helpful and useful. I appreciate the service provided.

    I have found this service very useful. It allows me to have my medical concern’s addressed in a timely fashion. I like that I have asked for medical advice on a few occasion but have been given a face to face appointment as it was deemed more appropriate. This service has literally been a game changer

    Had some excellent and very helpful dialogue with GP though WhatsApp. Was able to deal with something really quickly as a result and Dr was very proactive in making a referral. Sorry that WhatsApp will no longer be available.

    Really useful. Very simple. I would like our number to be saved against our profile, so I don’t have to go through name, surname, NHS no. each time. Just a message and then greeted with options to what I want, as it knows who I am by my number.

    I’ve never used the chat doc service before but it was a lot better than i was expecting. It was easy to use and all of the questions allowed me to give the necessary information. I got a reply from the gp service very quickly after using it and i would definitely want to use it again.
