  1. Review titled Good practice

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 29 March 2024

Everything went well overall. Only a minor thing, when I arrived for my appointment, I followed the instructions of the sign at the entrance, which said "Please sit and wait to be called". I waited for a while and when I realised the time of my appointment had passed and I wasn't called, I went to the reception and I was told that I should have checked in first. I think it might be helpful to have a sign that invites people to check in, because there was no way people could known otherwise. Not having checked in resulted in me waiting for more than 1h until the clinician was kindly available to see me outside the time of my appointment. I really appreciated this, however I do think that none of this would have occurred if I was made aware of having to do the check in in the first place. It can't be assumed that patients who do not attend the practice regularly know that they have to check in on arrival, especially when the first thing you see at the entrance is a sign that invites you to simply sit and wait, without mentioning any check in. It would be helpful to include an invitation to check in on that sign for those who don't know. I also have to say that every staff member I spoke to about this was very understanding and tried to problem solve the situation, which I very much appreciated.

Thank you for your feedback. We have looked into your feedback regarding the signage as patients enter the GP surgery, and what to do if you have an appointment and we currently have two signs with instructions. On the right hand side where the queue is formed for reception we have a sign that states 'Please wait here until called' and on the left hand side we have a sign that states ' If you have an appointment please use the check in screen' with an arrow pointing to the check in screens. We have been unable to locate a sign that suggests 'Please sit and wait to be called'. We will discuss and consider whether the signs need to be clearer but we hope that this response has cleared up any confusion for yourself and others who might read this.

My son has received excellent service from the wound dressing team at the practice. His wound has now completely healed following a consistent and professional service and support from the nursing team. Thank you for your help, patience and support.

  3. Review titled Can’t be relied on

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Don’t rely on them - Posted on 28 March 2024

I was asked to fill out an online ADHD test sent from my doctor as well as send referral documents back to be referred. A month had passed since I sent everything across and then I get a text saying I’m missing documents. I phoned up to query this as everything that was needed was sent and was told the admin team only sent one of the documents to my doctor, as for why, they didn’t say. That was a month ago, I tried emailing to chase and they said that as I had not long spoken to someone there was no need. Here we are nearly a month later and still they haven’t sent the documents to my doctor. I am also waiting on confirmation of another referral from the first week of January and still nothing. Some doctors are really good. Others are slow and the admin team are terrible.

Rated 3 stars out of 5

I've tried and tried to log in and it's frustrating and impossible .can't phone for prescription request and impossible to do on the internet . Just given up . If you get to see a GP they are very nice but trying to do anything on line is just awful . Frustrating and annoying .

  5. Review titled Amazing surgery

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 02 January 2024

I moved to Trinity surgery from another (very poor) surgery in Brighton a little while ago and have been amazed by how much better the care they offer is. The receptionists are consistently kind and friendly on the phone- I’ve always hated ringing the doctors but it’s made it so much easier. Every doctor I have seen has been thorough, respectful and clear. The surgery is clean, well organised and is a pleasant place to be. It really has meant the world to have a surgery I now feel I can trust, when I know they are working with challenging systems and skeleton budgets.

  6. Review titled Excellent help

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Stephen K Rollings - Posted on 24 November 2023

I have been a patient of Trinity Medical Centre ever since the Centre took over Hova Villas Surgery. In all that time I have found both both doctors and other staff to be excellent. One hears stories of people waiting ages for an appointment, of rude receptionists and general indifference to patients. Not so with Trinity. I have never experienced any such problems. However, it takes two to tango. If the patient has an initial aggressive attitude, don't expect tea and sympathy. Treat as you would be treated.

  7. Review titled Wonderful Service

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Myndie Hararah - Posted on 04 November 2023

The Trinity Staff has been very helpful and kind in my experience. The Doctor(s) have been very professional and helpful, and I was grateful to be seen to do quickly… my only negative input is regarding the decibel levels of radio/music/news that is way too loud in the waiting areas. The noise level was oppressive, and hurtful. I am certain some might like it, but overall, and especially when one is unwell, sound can create further anxiety. Especially unpleasant sound as subjective as that is… you might want to consider a more gentle approach to your waiting rooms because you have very different age groups with different conditions. It was hard for me in my other feedback because my response is nuanced and I feel very positive about your medical staff and your admin from my current experience, but your waiting room was ridiculous. If you had an autistic person waiting in that overbearing environment they are sure to have an episode. I am sure you could find a more neutral and gentle approach for your patients whilst they wait to be seen. It was a painful waiting experience for me and I am not being dramatic. Even if you turn down the decibels that would help. Anyway, other than that, thank you you for your good service and wonderful team.

Thank you for taking your time to comment on your experience at Trinity Medical Centre. We are really pleased to hear that your experience with our staff was positive. We were sorry to hear that you found the radio too loud in our waiting room and I am grateful that you have bought to our attention your concerns regarding this. As a result of your comment, we have spoken to staff who will monitor the sound levels in the waiting room to keep them at a more comfortable level which will hopefully create a much more pleasant experience for patients in the future. Many thanks, Trinity Medical Centre

  9. Review titled Excellent Practice!

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Lauren Cole - Posted on 26 October 2023

This practice is amazing. I have neen a patient for 7 yrs and have zero complaints. The econsult sytem works so well, dfollow up appointments/phone calls are prompt. The reception staff are always friendly and helpful and so are the doctors and nurses. Considering how underfunded the NHS is generally and the pressure staff must be under, they do a great job!
