    I have been trying to get an appointment for my child. I tried calling in the morning last week when I was told to fill in the e-consult form or go to A&E as they had no appointments. After filling in the form, I have been waiting for a week now. I called today to be told that it has not gone to triage yet as they are very busy and was informed to take my child to Colchester urgent care. This is the most pathetic GP services on the planet. There is no communication about the waiting times and no consideration for the patients health. And it's not even the first time that I am having trouble with the surgery. The level of service is just appalling!!!

    Rarely use the doctors. Can only make an appointment online between certain hours. The only time I have for lunch break is the time you cannot fill in the form. Tried ringing to be told must fill I'm form online! The amount of time she explained this,an appointment could have been made! I work rest of day so have no way of making an appointment. Ridiculous system

    Dear Tracey Gingell Thank you for your feedback regarding the econsult form. I am sorry that it was not a convenient time for you when you tried to fill in the form. We have found that the amount of forms we receive out ways the capacity so have decided to restrict how many we receive on a daily basis, temporarily. If you feel that you need to be seen on the day then we ask patients to call the surgery We will take your feedback into consideration with any further plans we have for this system Kind regards Cher Cooper - Practice Manager

    Called to make an appointment for my child, and was told to do an e consult, was told a doctor will look over it but it can take upto 24/48 hours for someone to contact me. I was told if my child gets worse to call nhs 111. Sorry but if your child is sick and you require a doctor you should be able to see one not wait for a doctor to look through an e consult. It’s absolutely disgusting my child has to wait to get medical attention when it is needed. Back on the phone I go to try and get medical advice for a sick child. I shouldn’t have to call nhs 111 I should be able to rely on a doctors appointment, e consult is wrong shouldn’t be used to get an appointment for a child or anyone who is vulnerable

    Dear Patient Thank you for your feedback regarding econsult and this being used for your child. After using econsult for 2 weeks for care that patients need on the day and due to feedback and comments we have received recently regarding this, we have decided to go back to our original system. We now ask patients that feel they need to be dealt with by a Clinician on the day to call the surgery and for routine care to fill in an econsult form.     Hubby called the surgery at 8am - 10th in the queue (pretty good) to be told by receptionist to fill in a e- consult. Receptionist called him back with an appointment for the 08/01/24. The point is he needed an on the day appointment. Doubled over with Rt sided shooting pain, advised to go to A&E then as no appts. Great use of our struggling A&E service

    Econsult - an online form that you can only fill in during office hours. Filled it in asking for a referral and not a GP appointment as it will be a waste of time. I was asked to request a referral not a GP appt. Got a no reply email saying they will arrange a GP appointment. No way to message them. What a stupid, idiotic, badly designed, inefficient system. Shame on you.

    Dear Patient Thank you for your feedback regarding the econsult form. We have started this system so that we can manage demand and maintain safe response times. The forms are accessible during our opening hours and works inline with the hours that Clinicians are available to triage the forms. A GP appointment is still required if a referral is needed by a patient. A Patient will need to be accessed so that the right referral can be made to the correct service Cher Cooper Group Practice Manager

    I have tried three days running starting my call at 7.59am hanging on or getting a call back every day I’m told there are no appointments left. They will not make appointments in person at the surgery and no longer allow appointment booking online they tell me there are not enough GPs and it says they are still taking on new patients hideous service people are dying, people are going too long before diagnosis something must be done

    It seems antagonistic every time you phone, simple requests are treated with contempt, Moulsham lodge use to be a great surgery with great doctors, now its just a shambles, when you get to actually see a doctor though they are very nice, its just the red tape you have to go through to speak to someone.

    I’m a 39f with no health problems so when I’m December i got sciatica in my left leg I just though it was a trapped nerve and after a week it felt better but was never the same so after Christmas I called the surgery to see a doctor as the pain in my hip wouldn’t go, of course like the rest of the reviews I could not get an appointment and called throughout the month with no success so in February I spoke to receptionist and told them my problem only to be told very rudely with no compassion or empathy well nothing they can do keep trying, told them the pain is not going it’s getting worse the receptionist did not care at all. So I gave up it’s now may the pain is still in my hip and has now gone to my back as well. I been trying since February on and off to get an appointment with no success so called the receptionist today, to see if the receptionist could tell mehow else I can, I was the phone crying telling this receptionist that I’m getting scared now as all I know this could be cancer, I didn’t get a chance to ask the question as the receptionist was very rude, constantly over talking me, snapping at me telling to call at 8 tomorrow. I don’t write reviews but my experience has been awful, no one has the right no matter ur job title is, to treat people so poorly like there less than people

    Had to go to A E as had bad chest pains and stomach pains with very high blood pressure have now been trying for 2 weeks to get face to face appointment the most one morning I tried was 171 times out in queue used ring back 58mins later only to be told try tomorrow tried following day nothing this will now be 3rd week I must say I did get a phone call doctor which he said do a blood pressure chart now completed form now saying if you don’t hear anything in next 2 weeks phone surgery and what???
