I have been a member of this practice for 25 years, it has grown from strength to strength and has supported myself and my wider family for many years. Today I accompanied my Mother to an appointment which was on a Saturday. The Receptionist today was helpful and informative. The appointments staff are always pleasant and will go the extra mile to help. Many of the Dr's here have served the community for years and grown with it which I feel is testament to it's success. I couldn't recommend this practice anymore. Well done to all the staff and long may it continue!

Writing on behalf of my special/ additional needs son. I have to give credit to this amazing practice, my son struggles with needles( it sets off his anxiety) but he was put at ease by the professional and patient Nurse at the Holywell surgery. The nurse was an absolute delight and she had the biggest welcoming smile on her face when she met him. She took her time to introduce herself , explain who she was to him, in-order to put him at ease ,gain his confidence , keep him calm and relaxed. Even though his doctor was present , the nurse made the blood test that he was in for as quick and pain free as possible (all the while praising and encouraging him), and it was over before he was even able to become distressed. It was genuinely the best experience for all the people involved including my special needs child.

It is wonderful to hear that our Nurse at Holywell Surgery was able to reassure and keep your son calm during his blood test appointment. We understand that some patients can find blood tests distressing. Attended surgery today for a number of issues, friendly receptionist, fantastic service and a very down to earth doctor who made me feel much better after our appointment.

I’ve tried to make an appointment with a doctor to talk about my blood test results because I haven’t been feeling well for only the receptionist to tell me that everything is normal and refusing to give me an appointment. The receptionist is not a doctor to make such decisions. I’m seeking advice from a professional not the receptionist to talk about my health. I’ve tried explaining that I’ve had blood tests done at a private clinic and that they’ve referred me to the GP so they can refer me to an endocrinologist for the receptionist to only mock me and not listen to what I need.

Rang the surgery 08:00hrs for an appointment and was offered one 09:30hrs the same day. GP examination was thorough and efficient, resulting in a referral to hospital for x-ray and blood analysis the same day. Excellent service.

I seen the today concerning coming off my HRT treatment as I have been on it for a while. She was so helpful and understanding she explained she was there to help me as I was very nervous about been taken of HRT. We decided together what would be best for me in the long run and if needed I can go back if things are not going well. Thank you so much.

I attended the Surgery for a gastric condition and was seen by a junior (trainee) doctor. His examination was thorough and was able to elaborate on areas of uncertainty. Very reassuring!

Sadly I had moved from the Borough and had to leave the practice. Attenborough surgery have been amazing, each and every member of the team, from the receptionists, Doctors, and nurses , all supported me at an extremely high standard. I developed an underlying health condition that changed my life, every time I called the surgery the receptionists were so supportive and kind. The Doctors always listened and helped me , not rushing me but really cared, thank you to everyone who supported and cared for me for the years I was a patient at the practice, I will always be great full for your support. Overall, a fantastic practice. You made my life that little bit easier when I was struggling , you really did make a difference. Thank you.

I attend the surgery fairly regularly and have attended for many years. I have found the reception staff very helpful, both in person and on the phone. My Doctor is always very reassuring and informative. Highly recommend this surgery.
