  1. Review titled Nurses are spot on. Doctors n reception very sad

    Not happy. Asked for an appointment with diabetes nurse or community nurse. 3 appointment later still being passed from pillar to post. So far i have seen a local nurse a paramedic and a trainee diabetes nurse. I had a blood test for which i was told the doctor would call with results . I received a text to call and make appointment to speak to doctor on the day . Which I did and was told an appointment was available in 2 weeks time . I asked to speak to a doctor and was told you can 5 April 2024 today is 22nd March 2024. I have had 2 heart attack in past 30 days . My sugars are spiking like fireworks. And this has been the response of my gp . I could be dead and buried by 5 April mate I can call from otherside. Very hard to get past the receptionist they have the answer to all your issues. Need to train the reception staff. Very bad image for surgery...

    I attended the surgery for some tests, the medical staff were amazing and so caring and made me feel at ease. I received a call on Monday from the sister which I missed, but called after 10 am like I was asked to on the voicemail. I was told the nurse was busy but my message would be passed on for a call back. I waited all day and heard nothing. I'm beginning to wonder if my message was even passed on. Today I have called after 10 again and had the same dismissive receptionist again tell me I can get a call back on Thursday! This is appalling. I'm sick with worry, knowing I have results that need to be discussed and no one who can give them to me. When I said I had a hospital appointment on Thursday, I was told I'll have to call again tomorrow at 8. Such a poor service after experiencing amazing treatment. No one goes to the doctors feeling great and the lact of compassion from the people on the telephone is astonishing.

    After waiting for 47 min on phone before getting through. The staff attitude was 💩 could not care less. I was in extream pain. Had just got back after suffering a heart attack. I speak fluent English. But she either was too busy doing something else. For sure was not listening to me. The staff got don't give a dam attitude. I will be looking to leave soon. As for the doctors can not fault them. They probably the best in city.... If you thinking of joining this place... don't bother until they get better staff...receptionist talk to you as if they doing you a favour. And look down at you as if you should not be there... well good luck all.

    on visiting this practice i found reception staff very courteous and helpful as regards medical staff they showed me the utmost respect and explained everything to me i would like to mention the call backs from the practice be they be from reception/nursing/or doctors to me as a patient they were all invaluable and showed how much the patient is the centre of the practice thank you again keep up the excellent standards

    Reception staff always very helpful. Clinical staff responsive and proactive, addressing concerns and dealing with them efficiently and appropriately. Can’t fault this Practice and would recommend without hesitation. Good job everyone.

    Today my son had a medical episode within the surgery & I have to say, all members of staff( 5 to be precise)were amazing. Compassionate & very professional medically. Boroughbury Medical Centre have always been amazing with apointments/results/bloods/ infact everything we as a family have had. I just want to thank all the medical staff & receptionist for the professional ways & making you feel relaxed. outstanding surgery in my eyes.

    As always at Werrington and at Peterborough a prompt, efficient, thorough and confidence boosting service always restores faith in the NHS . When I moved from the area I stayed registered with them to access hard working staff , caring and thorough doctors and a pro-active approach to health care . I couldn’t ask for more really. Thoroughly recommend.

    To say that from the reception to the nurses and doctors I give a 5 star rating,caring,considerate throughout. With all the pressure put upon surgeries over the last couple of years Boroughby has stood fast in making sure the patients are their main priority.

    1. Your reception staff are not medically trained. They should not triage patients whereby they then decide whether they should see a nurse practitioner or gp, neither should they be asking what the medical concerns are - medical data is sensitive data. 2. All other primary healthcare services are face to face - so why are your clinics not open face to face as they were prior to covid - this is causing extenuating pressure on 111, the Urgent Care clinic and accident and emergency 3. Results - positive test result and yet no gp phoned me since January - tried to raise complaint and instead a missed call from gp 4. Just poor service in general based on points 1 -3 It is about time gps actual do a full day's work and a full week's work rather than part time which is having a negative effect on patients
